The office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Friday morning sent the Nairobi County Assembly a letter with a request to summon three Nairobi MCAs over the existence of a militia by the name “Sonko Rescue Team”.

The three are; Waithaka Ward representative Anthony Kiragu Karanja, Nominated MCA Ruth Ndumi (Jubilee Party) and Mlango Kubwa Ward Representative Patricia Mutheu.

Sonko’s suspicious Rescue Team has been subject to discussion many times before, with quite a number of leader’s having questioned its activities.

Two years ago, Sonko bribed NGO’s Coordination Board Executive Director Mohamed Fazul who approved its registration as a non-profit organization.

The team was initially launched in January 2015 to offer an array of “services” including ambulance, hearse, breakdown, wedding transport, water, security and emergency response.

In April 2016, former Nairobi Governor Dr. Evans Kidero had written to Mr Fazul asking him to crack down on the then senator for failure to license the team.

Money laundering is the process of making large amounts of money generated by a criminal activity appear to have come from a legitimate source.

In June, the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) announced new bank notes in the process demonetized Kshs. 1000 by October, 2019.

There has been a frenzy in the political and corrupt businessmen circles; most of whom hoard huge amounts of cash obviously in Kshs. 1000 denominations. They are running helter and skelter trying to convert the money into new notes so as to beat the October deadline.

The only problem for these corrupt wankers is that time is not on their side and also CBK has instructed banks to not accept cash in excess of Kshs. 5 million without notifying it.

In a press briefing on yesterday, Mr. Njoroge, the CBK Governor reiterated that those who wish to exchange more than five million old one thousand notes should first seek permission from the CBK who will approve the transaction.

Corrupt Samburu Governor

Early this year, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) arrested Samburu Governor Moses Kasaine for looting over Kshs, 2 billion county funds expenditure that is believed to have been misappropriated.

EACC went on to release a press statement stating the county leaders founded companies that they used to award themselves tenders worth over Kes. 700 million.

‘In other cases, contractors were irregularly awarded contracts worth over Kes. 1 billion, for works that were partly or never done, after which they paid kickbacks to top County Officers.’ The statement read in part.

The county officials invested the embezzled funds in real estate.

EACC also sought to freeze and seize their assets, in order to ‘recover public funds lost at the County’.

The Samburu Governor was taken to court and was fined a huge amount of money (Kshs. 100 million) for his release, but the court later became lenient and reduced the fee to Kshs, 10 million.

On March 6, the EACC obtained orders barring Governor Lenolkulal from transferring four prime properties in Nairobi.

There’s a sinister going-ons at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in South Korea. It has become a death trap for Kenyan students.

The government recently signed a contract with KAIST to develop a similar institution at Konza TechnoCity.

According to an article written in 2016, the KAIST in South Korea had had eleven people (six undergraduate students, four graduate students, and one professor) have taken their own lives since 2011. The suicides are known as the “KAIST incident.”

I work for the Kenyan embassy in Seoul South Korea and over the last 4 years I have noticed a very worrying set of events.

As you know, Kenya is currently developing a technopolis in Konza and using the Korean model under the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) to develop it.

However, there have been strange events that have happened at the insitutitions that involved Kenyans that needs to be scrutinized.

Over the last 3 years, the Kenyan embassy in Seoul has handled the suicide of 3 Kenyans all at KAIST. The most recent of these was last weekend when a student studying nuclear engineering tried to kill himself by taking medicine overdose.

Instead of launching an inquiry into the reason why so many Kenyans were killing themselves at this institution, the Embassy with the help of some of the people involved in developing Konza have covered it up.

A Mrs. Caroline Kariuki, who is a director of The Konza Technopolis Development Authority (Phone number 0733514541) and email (ckariuki@konza.go.ke) has been involved in the cover-up.

Word around the embassy is that because KAIST wants to preserve its name, it has spent several millions of dollars as compensation but none of this money has reached the families of those involved.

In a typical fashion, President Uhuru Kenyatta has ignored the plight of the students studying abroad, has teamed up with a foreign government to collude and benefit off the death of students.

It looks like the Chinese and Koreans are killing our people but all that Uhuru’s regime cares about is bribes and stupid projects.

There is this project sponsored by the World bank, known as Kenya Youth Employment and Opportunities (KYEOP), where youths are trained through National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) while others who applied for Business Grants are to be given the Kshs. 40k grant in two instalments.

Now the applications are done in cycle, 1, 2 and 3 in various selected counties in open discrimination.

However, our concern is that the grants’ beneficiaries haven’t received any cent right from cycle one, maybe few lucky ones based on who knows who and who brought you.

Now the KYEOP and MSEA (a component in the program) advertised for cycle 4 applications yet even the grants for cycle 2 have not been paid.

Those driving the function are conning our youths by withholding funds meant for our empowerment while drawing millions from Daily Subsistence Allowances (DSA) and Allowances in Overseas Trainings. The mockery of it all is this; one Stephen Ogenga was the Project Coordinator of KYEOP at NITA. Due to public demand and rage over his incompetence, Ukur Yattani, the Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Labour & Social Security had to intervene to have him relieved of his duties from KYEOP over incompetence and a 24/7 in-tray full of Industrial Training work. His problem is one, he loves money more than his job with salient appetite of field related duties to earn (DSA).

To add salt to the wound, the NITA Board settled on the choice of Mr Ogenga to act as NITA’s Ag. Director General in replacement of yet another Paul Kosgei who knew nothing about Corporate Governance other than cowardice and ruining the careers of innocent employees at the sole instructions of one, Ernest Nadome, an artisan and a COTU representative at the NITA Board. Having failed to steer KYEOP, what better is expected on Mr Ogenga as NITA’s next CEO? With a big man syndrome, he has begun changing offices, locks and introduced a private door which hid predecessor had no idea about. Nadome is honestly in an unfamiliar terrain. His hand is at every recruitment with the worst choices of candidates fixed to get jobs notwithstanding fair merit and competition.

One, Galm Rogicha Guyo has been nicknamed a mortician because Levy Administration Department is on its dead bed because of incompetence. The NITA Board is a consumer of fake news in terms of cooked figures on Levy Collections while he utilizes the departments’ vote head on some irrelevant county forums with no bearing on any returns. Nadome’s choice of a banker is asleep and the earliest he is repatriated back to Kenya Commercial Bank Group where he came from, the better. He knows nothing completely about Levy Administration.

There’s a lot of corruption in the manner in which the funds are utilized. A few individuals are benefitting at the expense of the Kenyan youth and the real thieves are at NITA.

The assistant chiefs who were the recruiters are also being threatened with job lose if their RA’s will raise alarm over the said balance.

Millions of stolen money is being stashed in Bungoma county, and no one is exposing this.

This has led to many youths who participated in this exercise loose confidence on their county government.

The problem is made worse because we have evidence that in others counties the RAs were paid the whole amount Kshs. 52,000.

The Monica Kimani murder case has taken yet another twist just days before the trial.

Analysts believe that statements written by Brian Kasaine and DCI Officer Maxwell Otieno show why police are convinced that Jowie and his then-lover Jacque Maribe killed Monica.

In his statement, Kasaine, who had been arrested and then released in connection with the murder, narrates Jowie’s activities on the night of the murder as well as the days that followed.

Maxwell Otieno’s statement says that his team has “overwhelming evidence” against Jowie and Maribe.

“Our investigations established that both the accused persons were directly responsible for the death of the deceased Monica Nyawira,” it reads in part.

The two statements are part of the documents set to be used from Tuesday when the trial of the murder that happened on the night of September 19, 2018, begins.

Kasaine told the police that he had given Jowie the gun with which he is believed to have shot himself. He said that he had given Jowie the gun on a previous occasion as he knew him as an “undercover officer”.

He gave his side of the story on the activities that took place on the night of September 20, 2018, when the police believe Jowie tried to destroy evidence.

He said he received a WhatsApp call from Jowie at around 2 am asking him if he had “paraffin or anything flammable or air freshener in the house.”

“I got surprised at such request of these items by him at such late hour,” says Kasaine.

He adds that at around 3 pm, the same day, he met Jowie outside the house where he lived with Maribe.

“I wanted to borrow their car keys so that I could use it to go and pick up my son from school. He was wearing a white vest, grey sweat pants. He was in deep thought and distracted,” reads the statement.

He adds that he “jokingly” asked Jowie why he was looking for paraffin in the middle of the night.

“He replied, ‘tulikuwa job fulani na Mo-Muhoho na nikama alidunga mtu kisu’ which translates to “I was with Mo-Muhoho yesterday for an assignment and he stabbed somebody.”

At the end of the statement, Kasaine names John Muhoho – clarifying that this was the “Mo” that Jowie had said may have stabbed someone.

“When Joseph Kuria told me as follows, ‘tulikuwa job Fulani na Mo-Muhoho na nikama alidunga mtu kisu’ – he was referring to John Muhoho who is a close friend of his,” Kasaine said.

John Muhoho is the son of former KAA chairman George Muhoho. There have been photos of John Muhoho and Jowie on social media including their Instagram pages.

Kasaine continues to add that Jowie told him that he wanted to burn some stuff and had used some air freshener “while pointing towards the empty plot across their house.”

The investigating officer also refers to this part of Kasaine’s statement and gives 12 reasons why he believes that Jowie was directly involved in the murder and five on why Maribe is being charged.

Maxwell reveals that tests by the Government Chemist in a report reference A 199/2018 dated December 13, 2018, confirmed that DNA profile generated from a short Jowie wore on the day of the murder matched that generated from Monica’s blood sample.

“After the commission of the crime, the accused person burnt the clothes he was wearing at the scene of crime at the second accused residence in her presence,” he says in the statement.

He also says that witnesses have placed Jowie in Monica’s house and two of them – Daboul Walid and Owen Omondi – had said they left him there on that day.

Another fresh detail is that Jowie changed into a different set of clothes before he allegedly went to see Monica in his house.

“The accused changed and dressed in a white kanzu, grey coat and red cap in the immediate presence of Jennings Olando (a Recce Squad Officer who also had been arrested during investigations). These were the same clothes that he was putting on while at the residence of the deceased on a fateful day as confirmed by Owen, Walid, and guards at the Lamuria gardens apartments”.

He says that Jowie was in the same red cap at Club 40 Forty on the night of the murder and witnesses say he had it at Monica’s house.

He says that Monica introduced Jowie to Walid and Owen as someone who works with the Interpol as they sat in her house.

He indicates that at one time while they were watching the news on TV, Jowie commented; “They (Interpol) him included had arrested 19 terrorists in Lamu who were to be ferried to Nairobi for deportation.”

Otieno’s statement also indicated that Jowie also claimed to be wearing a kanzu to enable him “blend with the Somali community since he alleged that he resides in Eastleigh.”

“When Owen said that he desired a firearm for protection purposes, the 1st accused offered that he was going to assist him to acquire one either through the legal or illegal process,” the statement says.

He adds; “Owen confirmed that while in the deceased house, Jowie received several phone calls whereby he would move aside and speak in coded language over the phone.”

Otieno also reveals for the first time that a gardener accessed Monica’s house through a window and found her in a bathtub.

He got out and informed the people waiting outside, including Monica’s brother, and this is when they broke the door before calling the police.

One of the reasons that police believe that Jowie murdered Monica is, as Otieno indicates, he had informed Jennings of who he was going to see.

“He informed Jennings Olando whom he was with that he was going to visit a lady friend who had just arrived from South Sudan,” the statement reads.

At the beginning of his statement, Otieno says that on September 19, 2018, Monica flew from Juba and landed at JKIA at around 5.30pm.

On Maribe, Otieno says that her car was at the scene of the crime and she was seen in it on the same night.

“The accused person witnessed the burning of the clothes by the first accused on the night of the incident near her residence,” Otieno lists this as the second supporting evidence.

He also says that Maribe’s phone was within the same area of the incident and was switched off at about 10.25pm, which is about the time the murder happened and was switched on at around 9.52am the following day.

“Considering the above, it is evident that the accused persons jointly murdered the deceased,” Otieno’s statement reads.

He gives the fourth reason as that Maribe gave contradicting statements on how Jowie had sustained his gunshot injury, thus depicting her as “dishonest and hence her alibi in respect of the date of the murder is not believable”.

His final reason of Maribe’s involvement is that she and Jowie were spotted at Club 40 Forty almost immediately after the incident and later in the same car when it was spotted near the scene of the crime.

Kasaine also narrates the events of the night of September 21, 2018, when he found Jowie bleeding at his gate and quotes Maribe telling him “he shot himself”.

“He was shouting at his fiancee Jacqueline Maribe immediately he saw her there saying ‘you want me out of your house, it is fine, bury me in Lang’ata then went quiet. Jacqueline didn’t answer him,” the statement by Kasaine reads.

Jowie then told Kasaine to secure the weapon.

Kasaine says they could not get Jowie admitted to Lang’ata Hospital and Nairobi West Hospital without Sh50,000 as a deposit.

It was not until the following evening that Jowie went to Lang’ata Hospital for dressing. He passed by the Lang’ata police station where the matter was reported as a shooting incident.

“He said he had been advised to do so,” Kasaine says in the statement.

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has launched investigations into allegations of financial impropriety running into millions of shillings at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).

This site exposed KICC Slayqueen Boss Nana Gecaga way back in April this year yet wankers at EACC did what they always do. Sit on things.

Local media reports that the EACC chairman Rev. Eliud Wabukhala confirmed that there’s an ongoing investigation and that there’s was a petition to EACC on March 25th 2019 to delve into the corruption allegations but for reasons only known to EACC; the investigations are starting now.

The issues that have put the country’s iconic facility in the spotlight include the award of tenders, payment of questionable allowances, audit queries and general maladministration.

Brief on the matter

In March, an anonymous report to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) also accuses Ms. Gecaga of flouting procurement rules, overpayment of suppliers among other abuse of office charges.

For instance, in a concert organised at the KICC (KICC hosted two American R&B Singers, SWV and Blackstreet boys) where Nana was like the chief marketer, she convinced the KICC to pay Kshs. 25 million stating that the concert would generate over Kshs. 45 million.

‘Not a single cent was generated’, the statement to DCI says

This was confirmed by the Auditor General Edward Ouko who stated

“There was no evidence that KICC received income from the event. The contract had provided that the profit from the event would be shared, with KICC getting 40 per cent,” Mr Ouko says in a report that is currently before the House Committee on Public Investments (PIC).

Never mind that he coerced KICC to use Kshs. 25 million; Kshs. 10 million above the allocated budget of Kshs 15 million.

The contract stipulated that KICC was entitled to 30 per cent of the catering services sourced by the organiser but there was no evidence that this was actually received, added Mr. Ouko.

This is a relathieve indeed.

She appeared before the the Parliamentary Committee on Tourism, Sports and Culture to answer to allegations of misuse of KICC and mismanagement of funds on in April.

However, the legislators were forced to cancel the meeting because ‘she appeared unprepaed for it’.

Nana had walked into the meeting wearing casual clothes which angered the MPs.

Instead of concentrating on asking questions, the MPigs let her off easily because she had come dressed like a Slayqueen. SMH at these wankers.

The Auditor General had also questioned the process that was used to identify and procure the services of the event organiser, Nimu Premier Events Ltd, saying documentation was not presented for audit verification.

Fraudulent Contracts

What was happening? Slayqueen Nana Gecaga signed the contracts on behalf of Nimu Premier Events Ltd?

Nimu managing director Ms Jane Mawenu showed that tickets for VVIPs were to be sold at Sh25,000, VIP Sh15,000, general entry Sh5,000 and early bird couples at Sh3,000.

Nana okayed a payment of Kshs. 25 million for business class air tickets.

Despite all this, it is not clear where the amount generated through gate collections went to.

It is also claimed that whenever the KICC senior managers travel outside the country and within, other than pocketing per diem, they receive entertainment allowances each to the tune of Sh1 million.

On return, further claims are made as refunds alleging that they overspent on entertainment “whereas the purpose of per diem is supposed to cater for all the expenses”.

EACC and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has customer ledger entries capturing these payments.

Curiously, other concerts and functions at the KICC are usually held for free.

In 2018, during the FIFA world cup, local entertainment providers Home boys set up a base for watching the matches at KICC at no cost.

Honda also used the grounds, they supplied KICC with a Motor vehicle and five motorbikes at a cost of Kshs. 2 million despite the activity not being previously budgeted for.

Old Slayqueen Nana should also be arrested like the other senior managers who have already been apprehended by the state.

It will be selective justice and usual gerrymandering and turpitude manipulation of Kenyans so as to seem to work yet going nowhere.

This evening, a local Kenyan blog by the name “Kenyan Report” published a post claiming that former IEBC Commissioner Dr. Roselyn Akombe had been found dead inside her apartment in the United States where she currently resides.

Akombe flew to New York in 2017 just days before the controversial presidential repeat poll over what she described as “security reasons”.

“I do not feel safe enough to go back home. This is not what I thought,” she told of the fleeing of her brother days after the August 8 annulled poll.

“They were calling him on WhatsApp telling him ‘tell your sister to relax. Tell your sister not to ask many questions’”

As a person, she said, the threats could have come from any of the political sides.

“I have never felt the kind of fear I felt in my own country. If you get those, you will be suicidal to think that nothing will happen to you,” she told the BBC.

In the poorly written post, the local blog claims that a “postmortem” conducted on Monday morning revealed that Akombe was strangled to death on the night of 23rd June which we find extremely odd since the ex-commissioner has been active on social media with her latest tweet being sent just three hours ago.

Neither Akombe nor her representatives have released any official communication over her alleged death as of yet but Indian based Kenyan journalist Leon Lidigu has confirmed that Roselyn is alive and well.

The author of “Treason: The Case Against Tyrants & Renegades” tweeted that Ruto should grow some balls and confront Uhuru Kenyatta — the Chief Planner of his assassination.

Adding that Uhuru Kenyatta inherited the skill from his late father and the nation’s “founding father” Mr. Jomo Kenyatta.

Miguna called Uhuru a “thief, murderer and addicted to drugs, alcohol and cigarettes” and accused him of having plotted George Thuo, George Saitoti and Joseph Nkaissery — all who died under mysterious circumstances.

Who is capable of killing whom?

Uhuru Kenyatta is a thief, murderer and addicted to drugs, alcohol and cigarettes who doesn't wake up before 10am and often relies on physicians to drip him to consciousness. William Ruto is a thief, murderer but a teetotaler who doesn't smoke.

Miguna has shared a poster on his timeline showing a planned demonstration for his return set for July 1st, 2019.

Miguna was awarded Kshs. 7 million, in December 2018, as compensation for the violation of his rights during his deportation to Canada.

In that ruling, Judge Chacha Mwita said Mr Miguna’s deportation was unlawful and in violation of the Constitution.

Miguna’s Deportation

The fiery lawyer was first deported to Canada on February 6, 2018 after police using explosives broke into his house and arrested him for his role in the January 30 controversial swearing-in of Raila Odinga as the People’s President.

He came back to Kenya in March 26th six weeks after his deportation, only to be deported again on 29th of the same month, this time while sedated.

Violations of rights

After his second return to Kenya, Miguna suffered more in the hands of state agents.

He was detained at a toilet in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for 72 hours, sedated and deported to Dubai.

This is more than why he had endured in his first arrest.

Police had forcefully gained entry into his Runda house using explosives then they took him on a roller-coaster trips to unknown locations inside Central Kenya.

These were dark times.

The government of Kenya (GoK) disregarded court orders against violations of Miguna’s rights.

The GoK deported Miguna a second time despite a court order directing the government to release him from detention at JKIA in Nairobi.

That week, High Court Judge George Odunga had ordered Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i, Immigration chief Gordon Kihalang’wa and Police boss Joseph Boinnet to release the lawyer from detention at JKIA, an order they defied.

“The three are hereby convicted accordingly and should appear before this court tomorrow at 10am,” Justice Odunga had ruled.

The three didn’t even appear before the Judge, signaling the return to high-state impunity in Kenya.

Kenyans had voted to remove Kenyatta as they had been treated to KANU theatrics and high levels of corruption in his first term, but in the first weeks of his second term, he began on a more evil high.

It remains to be seen what will happen to Dr. Miguna Miguna. He has rightfully maintained that he is Kenyan and has never renounced his citizenship as reported because ‘this is his country of birth’.

This is not even debatable since it is the truth, the courts were just resisting the impunity of the Jubilee regime under PResident Uhuru Kenyatta.

Starehe Constituency Member of National Assembly (MP) Charles Njagua yesterday gave the government of Kenya (GoK) 24 hours to deal with the issue of Chinese invasion of businesses in Nairobi.

‘We are not concerned about 6 Chinese nationals, we are concerned with the proliferation of hundreds of Chinese nationals who are taking away our businesses…they come here and threaten us. As the MP for Starehe, am giving the government 24 hours and if they’ll not have removed these Chinese, then we’ll forcefully take them out of those shops, beat them and March them to the airport. We will beat them as we don’t fear anyone’, the MP said.

Kenyan businessmen in Nairobi have expressed dissatisfaction with China’s growing involvement in the informal and formal trading sector in Kenya.

Local traders in Gikomba and other trading hubs such as Luthuli Avenue, River Road, Nyamakima and Kamukunji markets are pining for the government to protect them from the threat posed by foreigners, mostly Chinese, who have infiltrated the sector

In the middle of June, media reports indicated that Chinese were engaged in businesses that Kenyans can do contrary to the immigration rule that foreigners working in Kenya must bring unique skills and train a Kenyan(s) in two years before they go back to their country forever.

After the reports of the Gikomba Invasion, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior Fred Matiang’i ordered the deportation of seven Chinese nationals.

Small scale traders accuse the Chinese of invading their key source of livelihoods with counterfeit cheap imports.

Farmers and fishermen are the other group of businessesmen that have been affected by the Chinese invasion.

On June 7^th, 2019, David Mogikoyo, an architect working for the Turkana County Government (TCG) died in a road accident when his car rolled on the Kakuma – Lodwar Highway at a place called ‘Gold’.

His death has raised more questions than answers following reports that a pathology report revealed that he had poison traces in his blood.

There are more curious things from the manner the accident happened, his body position in the car that rolled and the other issues in their marriage that we cannot reveal now.

First, let’s introduce the family.

David is married to one Jane Kendi, 26, whom they had two kids. The youngest is 3 months old.

David worked at the National Oil Corporation between 2012 and 2014.

In 2014, he founded his own company, Space Orderlity International, where he was the director.

As the wife and kids were mourning and waiting for the family to prepare his burial, David’s family, led by the Matriarch of the family Celina Nyaboke Mogikoyo, rushed to court to stop his burial and also bar the wife from touching on any of his properties.

Back to the accident scene, David’s Pajero KBH 803M was written-off but not badly damaged in the driver’s compartment to warrant any deaths, to an innocent observer.

Tough Questions

Did David die a natural death or he was killed?

If he was killed? Who wanted him dead and why?

Other issues are now emerging

As with most deaths in the Western Kenya, David’s family wants to know what killed their son.

David hailed from Kisii and the mother in a long affidavit (attached) expresses her displeasure with the ‘hurried’ burial of her son.

She moved to court to stop the burial so that police can conduct more investigations on what killed her son.

The Affidavit

The affidavit says that a post-mortem by the Government of Kenya Chief Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor found out that ‘there is no iota of evidence to confirm that the deceased died from the accident…’.

Some people feel that the mother and her family want to rip-off the young widow, while others feel that there is something quite off about the death; that there’s something sinister about the way David Mogikoyo died.

‘As a mother she has a right to know who killed her son, pushed the vehicle to roll and put his son’s dead body in the vehicle. According to the government pathologist the body didn’t have any physical cuts, no external/internal bleeding, no swelling etc’, Fred Erick, a Facebook user wrote

Strange happenings at The Turkana County Government (TCG)

Turkana County Government is not so clean, corruption is rampant everywhere.

In April, media reports indicated that Governor Josephat Nanok had instructed his goons to abduct a ‘source/witness’ to a journalist who was reporting on corruption in the county.

It is said that the source, a Mr. Benedictus Maraka was kidnapped in an attempt to make him recant his statement that the relief food had been stolen.

The journalist, working for a local media house fled and later stated that ‘he feared for his life’ and that, ‘This is not the first time journalists have been threatened here.’

In early June, a red Vest protester in Turkana, a Mr. Joseph Elegaan was abducted, taken to Nanok’s home, beaten up and stripped off his Red vest.

They were protesting corruption at the TCG.

Governor Nanok is not all clean in these matters as he’s been shown to be ruthless.

The chief editor of this site urges the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to look at all angles i.e. did Mr. Mogikoyo complain of anything at work?, what was he working on before he died? above all, how comes there are no injuries consistent with someone who has been involved in a car accident on his body? Who poisoned Mr. Mogikoyo?

Just days after a leaked conversation between Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju and Kiambu politician George Nyanja exchanging anti-Ruto statements went viral on social media, it looks like the Deputy President has finally had enough and decided to go make peace with Kiambaa residents.

In 2013, Ruto was forced to listen to witness P-0536 at the Hague, as she choked with emotion while giving evidence against him.

Ruto had been accused of provoking a wave of murder for political gain after Kenya’s heavily contested 2007 elections.

The woman told the International Criminal Court that armed men with painted faces and carrying cans of petrol trapped mostly women and children from a rival tribe inside Kiambaa Church on New Year’s Day 2008.

Reliving the night, she said, “The door (to the church) was barricaded with bicycles, and we were all trying to escape. I threw my child out of the window,” she said with a cracking sound.

In total, 28 people were killed and dozens wounded during that attack.

It became one of the most notorious events of the six weeks of politically motivated violence in Kenya in late 2007 and early 2008, which left 1,300 people dead and 600,000 homeless.

Alongside radio presenter Joshua Arap Sang, Ruto was charged with three counts of crimes against humanity, including being an “indirect co-perpetrator” of murder, persecution and forcing people from their homes.

Now, more than 10 years since the brutal and inhumane attack, William Ruto is rumoured to be headed back to Kiambaa for a “Harambee” meant to raise funds for the rebuilding of the church.

According to a poster doing rounds on social media, Ruto will be accompanied by Kikuyu M.P Kimani Ichung’wa and Kiharu M.P Ndindi Nyoro.

It is still unconfirmed whether the supposed fundraiser set to be held on the 30th of June this year is legitimate or not.

Brian Kibet Bera, a 25-year-old Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) student was arrested at State House, Nairobi, for trespass has gone missing from hospital.

The student, who earlier this month climbed over one of the State House gates, was shot and wounded on the left shoulder by officers manning the gate after he drew a knife when he was challenged to stop.

After he was apprehended, he was booked at Kilimani Police Station. Later, and later rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.

Kilimani police boss Michael Muchiri, that time confirmed that the ‘suspect has been admitted under tight security’.

In an exclusive interview on a local TV station a day after the incident, David Bera, the father of Brian Bera said his son is an intelligent student and needs medication to enable him to finish university.

“This young man…my son… can contribute a lot to this nation and to the Kenyan community if he is treated. He is resourceful,” Mr. Bera said on TV.

State House that time announced in a statement that ‘investigations are ongoing to establish the motive of the trespass and appropriate action will be taken upon conclusion’.

This evening, government spokesperson Mr. Cyrus Oguna has released an official statement on Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Njagua Kanyi’s xenophobic remarks.

In a video which went viral on social media, the legislator gives Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i a 24 hour ultimatum to deport all foreigners doing business in the country or else, he would mobilize Kenyans “go into their shops, beat them and send to the airport”.

“The other day we saw Matiang’i claiming he had only deported six Chinese nationals yet we have hundreds in here. We are giving the government 24-hour ultimatum to deport them failure to which I will lead the locals in storming their shops and ejecting them. We are not talking about six Chinese nationals. We are talking of hundreds of foreigners who work here (Kenya). I give the government 24 hours to evict these foreigners lest I, being a representative of this area, go into their shops, beat them and send them all the way to the airport,” said Njagua.

His statement prompted Tanzania’s Speaker of Parliament Mr. Job Ndugai to order the Kenyan government to issue an immediate statement on the safety of Tanzanians in Kenya following heavy pressure from the nation’s MPs.

In the press release, the government distances itself from the singer-turned-politician’s remarks and strongly denounces the video.

Oguna ends the statement by assuring all foreigners in the country that their personal security is guaranteed.

While Kenyans have been calling for a tough stance on corruption in thr Jubilee regime, he has taken his sweet time to take selfies with the worst of them; posting on social media in praise of them.

Yhis is a giy that believed Chris Kirubi, the loiter of Kenatco, Kenya Airways and Uchumi, is a saint.

This is a guy that believes that Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala, the murdered and trafficker in wildlife trophies, is a Saint.

This is a guy that believes that taking selfies with the corrupt and inserting the words, ‘youths and jobs’, hijacking the hashtag #StopTheseThieves is appealing to Kenyans.

No, Mr. Ambassador, this is not how things are done.

After an interview in a local TV station, woke of our woke and valiant public defenders and intellectuals called him out on a number of issues.

One particular one is the support for use of coal power in the Lamu basin.

The findings of a study by the Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) shows that the Lamu Coal Power is not the best choice for Kenya.

The plant would lock the country into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) that would force electricity consumers to pay more than $9 billion, even if Lamu project doesn’t generate any power as long as it is available for dispatch.

This is pure daylight robbery.

Furthermore, coal is not the best bet in terms of human health.

Let’s take China for example; China has powered itself into prosperity using coal, but that has come with so much human cost.

In China, air pollution is killing over 1 million people and costing Chinese economy 267 billion yuan (US$38 billion) a year in the form of early deaths and lost food production, this is according to research conducted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Coal does not only affect the people in the vicinity, it has implications far and wide.
