This evening, fire broke out at the high end apartment building, Malik Heights, along Ngong Road in Nairobi.
Firefighters were quick to arrive at the scene, but have been unable to contain the inferno.
Many people are feared trapped in the building which also houses a car showroom.
Eyewitnesses say that the situation is getting worse due to cars exploding inside the building.
‘The situation is bad’, said one onlooker.
Huge dark smoke could be seen coming from the building from 3 kilometers away.

KENHA Overseeing Shoddy Roadworks By Giving Tenders To Quacks
This post seeks to notify the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) of the bribery scandals where quacks bribe Kenya National Higways Authority (KENHA) officials so as to win tenders which they are not qualified to do.
Most of the engineering firms that have been awarded road construction tenders by KENHA are either incompetent or KENHA directors ask for a lot of money such that the contractors are left with very little to do the jobs right.
Below is a case of Mombasa – Kilifi – Malindi road that you Mr. Twalib Mbarak Should investigate.
Hi Nyakundi,
I guess this road, Mombasa – Kilifi – Malindi also falls under Kenya National Higways Authority (KENHA).
The ongoing project involves repairs on the shoulders with gravel improved with cement and surface dressing with chipping.
The contractor doing this work is doing a pathetic job.
I wonder if KENHA is indeed supervising this road to ensure that the contractor adheres to specifications.
The ongoing works towards Kilifi is not even complete and the section that was done recently from mombasa is already potholed.
The shoulders being done by the contractor are not of uniform width.
The slopes are not standard and uniform.
Malindi – Garsen – Hola – Madogo Road
The shoulders do not drain away water from the road as is required. The gravel which is mixed with cement is dumped on ground which is not adequately graded to remove vegetation and topsoil.
The bitumen used for priming before laying the chipping is left exposed and trafficked for long.
By the time the chipping is applied, the ground is already damaged hence the appearance of potholes on a newly done section.
This project is a classic example of how low the standards have gone in road construction. I doubt if the contractor is experienced in the kind of work he is doing.
KENHA is letting this contractor get away with very shoddy job which should not qualify for payment at all.
Please pass this information to EACC so that they may establish if the public is getting value for money on the work being carried out on such an important highway.
Thank you

The issue I have is that I love Brookside’s rival, Kenya Co-operative Creameries (KCC) milk but that milk is missing from my faorite store, Tuskys Supermarket.
A couple of people who I spoke with yesterday, decried the fact that shelves are full of Brookside and Tuzo.
In fact, I went to two Tuskys stores and the shelves were filled with Brookside milk only.
Has the corrupt Kenyatta family bribed stores to sell only Brookside? For how long?
An apology from Brookside Dairy Limited is not enough!
The monopoly is even more dangerous that Brookside control over 40% of Kenya’s dairy market followed by New KCC at 35%, the rest is shared by Githunguri Dairy Farmers Cooperative (10%) and other small players.

CAPTION: Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip and his lover Sophie Mohamed.
Lamu Senator Anwar Loitiptip is currently nursing serious head and leg injuries at a hospital in Nairobi after he was attacked by persons described as “guards” at the Memphis Bar and Restaurant along USIU Road.
According to a statement written by Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi, the two had gone to watch Saturday night’s UEFA Champions League final clash between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Saumu further reports that at around 2:40 a.m that night, she had to answer a call of nature and after going to the washrooms, a “short and brown” man followed her from behind, then grabbed her by the top; tearing it apart in the process.
“I screamed for help and someone threw a stone inside. The man who was brown and short entered into a room and locked himself in. Anwar followed the man asking him what he wanted with his woman in Swahili ‘Unatakia nini mwanamke wangu? Toka uni-face uniongeleshe kama mwanaume!’”
In the statement, she continues to narrate how the man who had locked himself inside the toilet came out and pleaded for forgiveness, to which he was granted. Saumu says that she convinced Anwar to ignore the incident and they headed to his car.
No sooner had they got to the parking lot, than a group of around nine men fully armed with clubs showed up and descended upon the Lamu Senator. Hitting him on his legs and head.
“I covered his head to shield him from the bearings when I was also hit on the right arm sustaining injuries. Anwar sustained cuts on the head,” she says.
She later called her cousin and her step sister who came to their aid in the wee hours of Sunday night.
Here are photos of Anwar’s head injuries and Saumu Mbuvi’s full statement below.

Then Education CS Fred Matiang’i and Kiambu Primary School Std 1 pupils
The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) released new banknotes on Madaraka day a few days ago.
Most Kenyans who respect the constitution felt that the inclusion of Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) was a violation of the ‘no potraits’ on the currency.
But alas!
What most didn’t know is that the current Chief Minister, the Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Fred Matiang’i picture is also on the banknote.
A closer look at the Kshs. 200 denomination, shows a watermarked picture of Matiang’i with school kids.
This is a picture that was taken when he was still the CS for Education.
Yesterday, the CBK Governor Patrick Njoroge insisted that the new banknotes fulfilled all legal requirements including public participation.
But I don’t know which public participation stated that a civilian should be included in thr notes. Couldn’t they have used a silhouette of ‘no one’ as the current notes, especially the Kshs. 200 notes have on their backside.
I drafted Chapter12 of the Constitution. Kenyans debated but could not agree on which heroes deserved to be on the currency so they settled on none. The Kenyatta image offends that spirit. It is deliberate mischief, impunity and contempt for the people— the hallmarks of Uhuru. – David Ndii, Economist
Take a look.
Here is what Kenyans had to say:
So, we stopped this low to the point of having a picture of Matiang'i on our currency? What is wrong with this country? I hadn't seen this until I zoomed in. pic.twitter.com/jCTWeLHt12

My good friend Dr. Wandia Njoya, the Lecturer and blogger has penned numerous opinion pieces on education and our obsession with exams.
Njoya says, ‘the Kenyan collective mind is obsessed with just a one part of education: the content taught and how kids perform in exams. This myopic obsession means three things. One, Kenyans go through hysteria once a year when results are released, and for the rest of the year, we do not talk about the bigger issues bedeviling education. Two, we do not fundamentally re-examine the role of examinations. And three, we believe that changing one numerical formula with another, 8-4-4 with 2-6-3-3 will solve every problem related to not only education, but even the economy!’.
Today, sad news broke by local media stations reported that a woman had sewn her child’s mouth for failing in exams.
Residents of Maai Mahiu in Naivasha, Nakuru County have been left in shock after the lady, a hairdresser sewed up the mouth of her Class Five son over declining performance in school.
This aptly depicts our obsession with exams. The fact that we also don’t love our children as Kenyans screams loudly in this scenario.
The mother has been apprehended but will justice be done?
Who will take care of the kids when the mother I’d undergoing trial or worse still jailed?
Kenyans need to ask the government to change. You need to change the government before it eats you.
We have been reduced to robots. But what can we do?
The new education curriculum is not the most perfect. There are fundamental questions about its sustainability.
We know the lie that we’ve always worked with is that if a child passes their exams, then they’ll land a good job. But with unemployment rates staring at near 50%, where are the jobs.
The Government of Kenya has failed and continues to fail in this regards.
Why would passing exams be even about jobs in the first place?
Wandia writes that, in support of the new education curriculum, ‘Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) officials are saying that, employers will be going to schools to offer jobs to students! How can anyone believe that in the 21st century?’, she asks.
Let’s stop our obsession with exams and accompanying problems of cheating and cramming.

I’ve been looking at how to report a wrong being done on this very major road. The work started late last year and it’s now past Kilifi. The expansion is so shoddy one doesn’t have to be an engineer to see the reap off being meted on taxpayer payers.
The contractor has on one earth mover, a roller, a layering machine and not more than 3 dilapedated tippers. What he does is clear immediate bush dump and level murram, compact, pour colas and apply single layer ballast chips.
From your post on KeNHA boss, it’s now obvious the works were only meant for self enrichment.
If you have someone in Mombasa, pls ask him to check-out the work and photos
I’d suggest anonymity on my part.

Humphrey Kariuki Ndegwa is said to be a billionaire, a Kenya Shillings Billionaire to be exact.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Kenyan Githeri media seem to have been pocketed to cleanse this crook.
We Kenyans are either very uninformed or seriously math challenged. We insult ourselves and people who are real billionaires in dollars and pounds by calling so many debt-strapped Kenyans “billionaires”.
On average 100 KES equals 1 dollar. So a Kenya shillings billionaire is someone who has actual net worth of just 10 million dollars. That’s it. Calling such a person billionaire is an insult to real billionaires because such Kenya shillings billionaire is still like $990,000,000 short before he can be called billionaire. So let us stop disgracing ourselves by calling these people billionaires. All media people take note.
DCI Boss George Kinoti
Also there is something called net worth in wealth measurement. Your net wealth is your assets minus what you owe. We Kenyans just think of the visible flash the man is showing or businesses he is supposed to own; but safely hidden most of the time are mountains of debt or identities of others he is fronting for!
Cash generating businesses like hotels, restaurants, bars, shopping centres are effective platforms for money laundering.
Many of them rent private jets and claim they bought them. Just google the number on the rail of the private jet and you will see who actually owns it or from whom it is rented. Check out this man’s jet and see.
Being called billionaires and skipping to specify they are just Kenya Shillings billionaires allows them to continue scamming and winning large tenders because gullible people imagine they are already successful.
That is how a certain paper
company called Great Lakes Africa Energy domiciled in a lawyer’s office and having just one desk in the London offices of another company wins large energy tenders in Africa, including to build $400 million power plants! Since DCI may he compromised, if for example UK Serious Fraud Office were to investigate such transactions, don’t be surprised they will discover tender fraud, loot sharing, bribery and official corruption of high magnitude that can only happen in Africa.

In the case of tax evasion against the Africa Spirits Limited founder and director, the Kenyan githeri media and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) seem to have been pocketed to cleanse this crook.
In February, local media houses first reported that Mr. Kariuki has been arrested on allegations of tax evasion amounting to Kshs. 3 billion. He was also in possession of 21 million KRA stamps and 312, 000 litres of illicit liquor.
Kariuki and key staff from his alcohol manufacturing company mentioned above went into hiding. Whoever tipped them off about the raid must have been a member of the National Police Service (NPS).
See, such people don’t just live like that, they pocket key people in government, paying them monthly allowance for information against them.
Mr Kariuki’s Africa Spirits Limited was put under police watch from then on. Mostl likely not to apprehend and charge the culprit but to ask him for bribes and favors.
That is what the Kenyan police (NPS) does.
The Media
The media would always rush to christene such crooks as reserved, reclusive, controversial and above all bnillionaire-businessman.
This is a scheme by editors and journalists alike to appeal t the person on question to share with them their loot.
Sometimes these wankers in our media houses share a measly ‘loot’of Kshs, 20,000 with the write pocketing a huge amount of Kshs, 3000. Lol (laughing out loud)
This is appalling.
DCI Boss George Kinoti
The media and the police
The media and the police service (DCI) started with a hype, first with the ‘loud’ arrests that seemed like a reality TV show, then with the numerous articles including one written by a local journalists for Forbes magazine.
Forbes has since deleted the article which can only be accessed when one goes to the ‘cached’ section of the search results.
The DCI and the media must have been bought because a few weeka later, Kariuki’s citizenship which was said tro be dual , i.e. he was a Cyptiot (a citizen of Cyprus) and a Kenyan came into play.
While Kenyans have a right to become dual citizens, the Citizenship and Immigration Act declares that “every dual citizen shall disclose his or her other citizenship in the prescribed manner within three months of becoming a dual citizen”.
The law further says a citizen who fails to disclose the dual citizenship … “commits an offence and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding five million shillings ($50,000) or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or both.”
What happened? Mr. Kariuki had allegedly eluded the DCI.
By Mr. Kariuki’s refusal to cooperate, the DCI went into threatening mode obviously a bribe.
His indusrry that was shut down in February, started operating in unclear circumstances. The media and the DCI dyumped down the hype. Nothing about this was reported in the local media.
Billionaire-Businessman
Humphrey is not a billionaire.
For the Kenyan media, if one poses near a range, the Githeri media journos, churned out from Daystar University will declare you a billionaire.
Remember the story of conmen such as Wilkins Fadhili Williams (alias Edwin O. Osigro) and Ruth Ambogo.
The media interviewed Wilkins as a successful entrepreneur, never asking the source of his wealth or doing background research.
The Nairobi Corporate cartels also once named Wilkins among Kenya’s top 40 entrepreneurs and the corrupt and shoddy Safaricom invited him as one of the speakers and mentors at Blaze (Safaricom’s initiative that targets the youths).
The case of Wilkin Fadhili and others that have been made by the githeri media have continued to use their stature to con and scam people.
For example, where is Livondo,
Back to DCI and their head George Kinoti
George Kinoti must have started without a fuss?
Wrong.
If Mr. Kinoti is truly a great DCI boss, then he needs to bury the ghosts of his predecessor Mr Muhoro who, in his nearly eight years as DCI head, presided over numerous unresolved murder probes, including those of businessman Jacob Juma, former Kabete MP George Muchai and former IT manager at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chris Msando.
Going by the numerous sideshows in arresting small thieves, it goes without saying that Humphrey Kariuki’s case was killed.
Humphrey was specially treated; handles with baby gloves and let off so easily because he fulfils the criteria which is, a Mount Kenyan.
Chiken thieves are paraded before cameras even embarrassed with their mug shots all over social media (against court order not to do so), yet those who casuse pain to Kenyans are treated like VIPs.
Recently, you heard governors demanding that they be arrested more humanely. This is insane.
Since there are no more updates on the fake billionaire Humphrey Kariuki’s case, it is easy to conclude that the DCI and the media have been pocketed.

Nurucoin advert. Nurucoin has now turned into nuru-con as investors cry foul
Early last year, the craze for digital currency was at an all time high in Kenya.
Led by Bitcoin, It was often said that it is impossible to hack cryptocurrencies, but that assertion has now been proven wrong.
International media reports indicate that cryptocurrency systems have been hacked and billions worth of coins stolen.
In fact, in January 2018, hackers stole $1.5 million (Kshs. 150 million) a month from cryptocurrency funds.
Recently, in May 2019, Hackers stole more than 7,000 bitcoin worth $40.7 million (Kshs. 4 billion) from crypto exchange Binance, the world’s largest by volume.
Kenyans like quick money making schemes and this, like the Quail eggs Scandal was one of them.
Some people will always make money hit others, as they say, watalilia kwa Choo.
Nurucoin, a cryptocurrency start up in Kenya went all in with deceptive marketing on social media platforms.
Despite numerous warning by the Central Bank of Kenya and other industry experts, many people fell for these cons.
Here are some screenshots from the Nurucoin, which is believed to be having issues. Clients might have been scammed.

Karanja Mburu, Cemex Boss. Such people don’t have to work hard knowing that they own Kenya and that they can easily win tenders.
The war on corruption has always been a sham even as we are led by people who have never truly believed that other Kenyans matter.
The Kenyatta family which boasts of having produced two presidents in Kenya is corrupt and unrepresentative of the true Kenyan spirit of hardwork.
These people believe in ‘a grabbing’ philosophy where one doesn’t need to work, but just grab and live as if nothing happened.
From the Slayqueen Nana Gecaga robbing Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), to the two sisters (Nyokabi Muthama and Kathleen Kihanya) who doesn’t care so much about maternal health, to the lady white (Margaret Kenyatta) at state house who runs for course she alone understands, packaged as running for maternal health, to the tipsy boy (President Uhuru) always shouting hoarse that ‘we shall deal with corruption, phew!
‘Niendeleee ama nisiendelee?’
Now we introduce a new looter in the not so intricate family of Relathieves.
Kavi Pratt, Uhuru Kenyatta’s Niece maried to Karanja Mburu
Kavi Pratt
Kavi Pratt is President Uhuru Kenyatta’s niece.
The company, Cemex Systems, that has been given the tender to construct airside pavements and AGL systems at the Moi Internantional Airport in Mombasa is owned by one Mr. Karanja Mburu.
Karanja Mburu is the husband to Christina Platts, Kavi Pratt.
Essentially, what we are seeing here is an award of a tender to a family member even without hiding.
Progressive countries that care about taxpayers’ money make strict laws that prohibit sitting politicians and public servants, together with their close relatives from engaging in business deals with the governments they lead and serve.
Here in Kenya, the Kenyattas have continued to misuse state power to enrich their empire.
The affordable housing scheme is not a great initiaitive the way it is envisioned. There’s only one vulture at the top set to benefit, your guess is as good as mine. This family has all the companies that can provide materials for the housing schemes, from Mabati, to nails, to timber, to land, i mean everything.
Who will even win tenders against them?
The Kenyattas and their crony capitalism and state capture is sickening.
Below are documents to support the Karanja Mburu story:

Many Kenyans especially in urban centres complain about rogue landlords who don’t pay back the deposit money.
Here is one story.
Hi Nyakundi,
Can you expose some ‘landlord’?
I recently moved out of his apartment, the agents begged me to stay an extra month so I could get my deposit back.
After moving I painted the house (which was unpainted when I moved in). The house was also in a very bad state, they never made any repairs. Worst of all, it is built just next to a seasonal river (possibly illegal).
Sorry for too much details I just need this man exposed.
Two former tenants are also still following up on their deposits( we all moved out in April).. seems he’s used to treating people this way.
Thanks in advance.
On calls : I have tried to reach him 32 times today since he hang up on me
Here atached are some of the messages (landlord & I). Please also find the landlord’s details & state of the apartment- they ignored my pleas to get repair done.
I want him exposed because I have heard many tenants complain of such landlords frustrating them, esp with the deposit refund.
Why you?
You are straight- forward & brave!
If I had a larger platform like you do I would have started a conversation on this matter.
Thanks in advance.

I am a resident of Imara Daima. I live in Modern apartments.
I bring to your attention to these apartments that are family owned with a Borana guy named Wario Abdii being the main guy in the business and he has his dad as his caretaker on the ground.
This Wario Abdii is a KRA employee based in Namanga leaving his dad who has communication limitations to be the sole caretaker in the apartment; the dad hardly understands swahili and is very arrogant.
It was all peaceful before the dad came into the picture, tenants were paying directly to Wario Abdii in Namanga and communication was to him directly till the dad was introduced.
The dad came with all manner of harrasment, always shutting out utilities wherever he feels like, chaining the door when one is late on rent (even a week late, yet the son Wario Abdii would allow tenants till even the 30th of that month).
The dad will always go for supremacy battles ensuring that irregardless of any agreement you have with his son, he will do whatever pleases him within the apartments, harrasing anyone and everyone at his will.
This dad would openly shout to workers in the wee hours of the morning, calling them names.
He is also in the habit of firing them at will.
Whenever he feels like harrassing a tenant, he won’t hesitate since he knows once he shuts out the lights or water, and most tenants have kids, one would end up going to beg him.
He really loves when one is at his mercy since he has his spanner boy who doesnt hesitate when told to carry out any disconnection.
Arbitrary Rent Increase
Modern aparments is also the ridicule of Imara Daima estate since rent is always increased without any consultation and consideration.
The 3 years we have been there has seen the rent increase from Kshs. 30k to Kshs. 36k, something everyone around the estate knows and ridicules.
This guy doesnt have a heart and by the way, we agreed to enter this premises when lights weren’t connected yet.
We agreed to pay 30k irregardless…now that everything is okay, see what they are doing.
There is enough pressure felt around the country and adding such pressure to us the youth will just finish us.
Please highlight this.
Thanks

Mavuno Church has invited Safaricom killer Director Sylvia Mulinge as a Key speaker in their three-day summit that commenced today and ends on the 7th of June.
That exposes today’s churches that prefer welcoming celebrities, murderers and politicians in order to attract crowds hence make lots of money out of all this.
Kenyans have been enslaved by religion and there have been calls especially by the editor of this site for the regulation of churches that have become extortion rings.
This site has also advocated for the taxation of churches since they are nothing but business outfits.
A disturbed Kenyan attending the summit told cnyakundi.com that people are paying Ksh. 3500 for the event, something that most of them have regarded as extortion of the highest order or robbery without violence.
Sylvia Mulinge was accused of murdering a minor. The crisis mushroomed from a high-speed road crash that resulted to the death of a poor minor resident in the slums of Kibera adjacent to the Southern bypass in Nairobi caused by a sleek vehicle driven by Mulinge. The vehicle, a top of the range Toyota Prado KBU 483M, had/still has Safaricom Ltd registered as its legal owners.
Mrs Sylvia Wairimu Mulinge, then Safaricom’s Director for Consumer Business, was involved in the fatal accident allegedly caused by reckless drunk driving resulting in the death of young Mary Kusa Etale who was a minor living with her parents in Kibera. Mrs Mulinge, in conspiracy with her bosses, then went ahead and kept the crash secret contrary to Vodafone’s strict Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policy.
The accident was itself a bold violation of a core section of Vodafone’s “Absolute Rules” on OHS which demands that employees must “never exceed speed limits or travel at speeds that are dangerous for the type of road, vehicle, or conditions”. Eyewitnesses claim Mrs Mulinge was speeding while overtaking a stationary truck at the time of the accident which happened in an area known as “Raila Village” which is known to have high pedestrian traffic. She was drunk and staggering at the time.
The scandalous Safaricom top duo then went as far as attempting to bribe the parents of the deceased through an out of court settlement with a paltry offer Kenya shillings 950,000/- which betrayed the value they attached to the late Mary’s life.
To make matter worse, correspondence prepared by lawyers acting for the deceased family suggest Mrs Mulinge and Mr. Collymore of illegally influencing law enforcement officials to avoid thorough investigations as to the cause and circumstances of the fatal accident.
The editor of this site, using social media tools and the internet, managed to push the then Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko to review this case, leading to an order being issued demanding the arrest of Mulinge. But mulinge managed to influence the system, bribing judges and her case dying. We will keep reminding the no-nonsense Noordin Haji to re-open the case.
Apart from the murder saga, Sylvia Mulinge was mentioned many times in the Safaricom KPMG report that exposed the rot within Kenya’s most corrupt company, Safaricom. The scandal involved a company called Fibre Space LTD and Miss Mulinge.
Bob wed Wambui Kamiru in a lavish ceremony, attended by among others, the major suppliers to Safaricom and who made a cameo appearance in the KPMG dossier
Fibre Space Ltd was single sourced by Safaricom to roll out a system for electronic payments in the transport sector. This is the project known as the cashless payment system for matatus in Nairobi. KPMG established that there was no request for proposal (RFP) issued nor vendor selection (tendering process) done for this partnership. During this same period, KPMG also established that Fibre Space was actually having discussions with the head of the business unit Sylvia Mulinge. To the shocking surprise of the auditors, accountability documents related to this contract seem to have disappeared into thin air after payments were made to Fibre Space for a total of USD 6.46 million living Safaricom with a dead stock of unusable cards.

In 2017, tenants exposed the fraud that is Suraya Property group led by Sue and Pete Muraya.
They shared pictures of half finished buildings which was handed to them.
It was disgusting.
But in Kenya, crooks get away with a lot more.
You can be cleansed of a murder charge, so long as one agrees with the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Boss George Kinoti and the fake prosecutor Noordin Haji, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
There’s was no public inquiry, no investigations because this is a ‘Adu a Nyumba’.
Well, in 2019, the rogue company is still at their crooked again.
Their Lynx – Royal Estate, has collapsed and billions are set to be lost by investors.
We’ve highlighted the case of fraudulent Saccos such as Ekeza and others that have fallen with clients money.
Kenyans need to understand that these crooks operate under a fraudulent governance system, rob people and get away with it.
Article 37 of the Constitution of Kenya provides for freedom of peaceful assembly and states that ‘every person has the right, peaceably and unarmed, to assemble, to demonstrate, to picket, and to present petitions to public authorities’.
We need to call out the government for this ills too.
You can record your statement at the DCI but please also keep the whole system on toes.
Anyone working at Suraya, send me information of more fraud that is happening there. Use the contact details given at the end of this article.

A Local Senator is paying Vijana wa Mkono Ksh. 3,000 per each Ksh. 100,000 converted into dollars, the editor of this site, Cyprian Nyakundi has been alerted.
So, If you convert Ksh. 1,000,000 into dollars, you walk away with ksh. 30,000 which is a raw deal, considering the fact that the senator is hoarding more than 5 containers at his residence.
This also confirms the editor of this site’s views that Forex Exchanges will be the biggest money laundering outfilts, and not banks!
The money belongs to a very influential politician, we have learnt.
The senator was a few weeks ago under the DCI radar for conspiring with crooked firms to make fictitious project supplies with inflated invoicing as a means of diverting funds meant to benefit the country and the poorest communities of Kerio Valley to their own individual luxury projects.
The senator is constructing a Sh200 million palatial residence in Nairobi’s upmarket area of Karen adjacent to luxurious Bogani Villas.
The noose on the collective neck of graft lords suspected to be hoarding billions of shillings in safe houses continued to tighten Monday as the Central Bank of Kenya announced it had asked sister banks in the region to alert it on any suspicious transactions.
CBK Governor Patrick Njoroge warned that the current issue of the Sh1,000 note — the darling of counterfeiters, drug lords, and political criminals — will cease to be legal tender in October this year.
Njoroge said people “involved in illicit transactions” using “illicitly acquired cash” will find it impossible to get the money in the banking system or even to convert it into new-generation bank notes.

Thursday night’s #JKLive talkshow was brought to a premature end after an extremely agressive Mike Sonko became ungovernable in studio.
Prior to the start of this week’s show, a section of social media users labeled Jeff Koinange as sexist for hosting Mike Sonko just days after he publicly abused Esther Passaris.
Nevertheless, the show progressed and as many have described it, Sonko came well prepared and brought with him a huge bunch of documents to back his strong allegations against the Nairobi Women Representative.
Sonko began by defending his actions during Saturday’s Madaraka Day and insisted that his utterances were simply a reply after he was publicly provoked.
Sonko: Passaris is misleading Kenyans; I do pick her calls. She made allegations against me and I had a right to reply #JKLivepic.twitter.com/ffsLEvgAKx
He went on to accuse Passaris of constantly trying to swindle the Nairobi County government giving an example of how she demands for her per diems from both the National Assembly and the County; showing records of her various flights abroad which he claims were paid for by his county.
"The Nairobi County women representative wanted her per diem to be paid twice. I have not paid her and I will not pay" – Sonko #JKLivepic.twitter.com/HW4RiPqDe5
When asked to explain the genesis of their altercation, Sonko said that Passaris had been hired by a senior officer in the office of the President to attack him.
He also added that prior to the scene last week, the two had shared a very positive relationship and he even sponsored the ODM candidate’s election campaign in 2017.
“She (Esther Passaris) was under instructions from a senior officer in the office of the president to attack me in public… she was paid…” – Sonko #JKLivepic.twitter.com/MQeUQOjxef
During the latter stages of the controversial interview, Sonko began to get really agitated and Jeff Koinange looked like he had completely lost control of the show.
Sonko kept bringing up the issue of how Passaris, who wasn’t present to defend herself, invited him to a hotel room at Nairobi’s Intercontinental Hotel despite knowing very well he was a family man.
This prompted the director to finally bring the storm to an end. What followed were endless commercial breaks before Citizen TV eventually brought a different programme on air.
Due to standards and quality control here at Royal Media Services Governor it looks like we cannot continue with this interview – @KoinangeJeff
Sonko: Yes because you are one-sided, you are shying away from the real facts #JKLive
As was expected, the interview sparked huge reactions on social media and we’ve sampled some of them below.
Mr. @KoinangeJeff: It's unethical to invite a guest for an interview then terminate the interview because of some dubious "editorial" and "quality control." Mr. @MikeSonko came prepared. @citizentvkenya clearly terminated the interview because you could not ensnare him. #JKLive
This is my take home from the aborted interview: 1) Passaris' campaign was funded by @JubileePartyK via @MikeSonko. 2) Passaris extorted @MikeSonko of tens of millions of shillings. 3) Passaris committed FRAUD through double Per Diems, air tickets and other payments. #JKLive
I'm just sad what our leaders are doing to us. Esther Passaris taking allowances and drawing per diems twice from the tax payers. From Parliament and from Nairobi County… This is unacceptable. KENYANS are suffering others are looting #JKLive

The chief editor of this site has received an attempted cover up of a serious and deadly incident at the Daima Milk factory in Nakuru County.
A worker died after falling into a boiler at the factory.
We’ve previously exposed the mistreatment and exploitation of workers by Daima Milk management at their factory.
Read the story below.
Hi Nyakundi,
Corporate irresponsibility as worker ‘boiled’ to death in Daima milk factory in Sachangwan, Nakuru County.
Last week we tragically lost one of our members in Sachangwan through ernomous human error.
Reports reaching admin desk says that one of the supervisors instructed Enock Bii to clean the boiler manually, even though its normally done by Machine.
The second supervisor proceeded to open hot water taps to clean the boiler when Enock was still inside the tank leading to his painful death.
Apart from poor working conditions, Daima Milk is mistreating staff.
In 2015, the Kenyatta family, the owners of Brookside Dairy Limited acquired Sameer Agriculture and Livestock Limited (SALL) which is owned by Naushad Merali, a corrupt businessman.
Why is their a cover up of this story.
Obviously, the media has been bribed not to reveal.
Brookside has been having bad press since last week when a client shot a video showing packets containing diluted milk not fit for human consumption.
This week, most stores are mostly sticking Brookside milk so as to force Kenyans to use this cursed products mixed with human sacrifices.
Is this a new form of Ichwaweri oathing?
President Kenyatta also appointed an 80 year old Matu Wamae, chairman of the Kenya Cooperative Creameries (New – KCC). Mr. Wamae is deeply senile and cannot go against Kenyatta family’s whims of crippling the state corporation so as Brookside to maintain a monopoly.
Cnyakundi.com has fully exposed this incident which Daima Milk wants covered up.
The company is covering it up so as to compensate with peanuts.
Enock Biii is survived by two dependants (see photo below).
This is sad.
Kenyans should avoid Brookside, Daima milks for 6 months. (even more)
