Since the beginning of the week, all top officials have reportedly been wallowing in a miasma of panic and confusion with the fear that the internal investigations might uncover their illicit backroom deals from which they mint millions of shillings.

Guided by submissions anonymously presented by disgruntled employees, the top CFAO executives are understood to not only be looking into claims of staff mistreatment but also mismanagement, rampant embezzlement of funds and gross misconduct.

One of the high priority cases is the recently launched construction of the Sh500m CFAO showroom to be opened in Kisumu where a huge chunk of the project money is suspected to have gone into people’s pockets.

It is alleged that some of the building works worth over Sh120m have been granted to Kisumu Concrete – a company closely associated with a member of Mr Arvinder Reel’s wealthy family.

The inquiry into the organization’s internal operations also seeks to understand how Indian suppliers linked to Mr Arvinder Reel are offered disposed Toyota Kenya vehicles at throwaway prices.

According to our multiple trusted insiders within the firm, things have gotten so bad at CFAO Motors Kenya that the management has embarked on unconventional disaster management tactics in a desperate bid to fish out the moles responsible for leaking the scathing information.

Staffers are now reportedly living in fear after it emerged that the boss has acquired the services of mobile phone tapping experts who have set up an illegal system to unlawfully snoop on employees.

But this does not seem to deter them.

They have vowed to keep up the spirited fight for justice and continue to unearth all the rot at CFAO Motors Kenya.

This is evident from new submissions shared below in which two current members of the dissatisfied workforce have validated all past horrid claims made against the vehicle distributor.

The culture of tribalism and nepotism is deeply entrenched in the company and is perpetrated by Senior Kenyan managers accused of blatantly frustrating women staff members who are not from their tribe or those that turn down sex-for favours.

Adrian Stelzer, the Human Resource Manager has been described as a toxic authoritarian that is stressing employees into depression.

All personnel are said to be generally demoralized and have completely lost hope in the current crop of leadership at the company.

Submission 1.

“Good afternoon Nyakundi, below is a complaint from an anonymous employee afraid to use their phone.

I have been following up with your article on Toyota Kenya, it’s not only Adrian, the entire HR is rotten from Wambugu the said HR manager and Jemimah these two are even worst they are nothing but trophies, or should I say puppets?

They have no idea why they’re in HR.

Complaining to them is like singing to a goat.

Tribalism and nepotism are real at Toyota Kenya.

A lot of people are afraid to come out and exposé these crafty creatures for fear of victimization.

Right now if you don’t belong to the puppet’s club your phone is likely to be tapped.

Toyota has become a company where people just work to either get experience or a highway to get a better job elsewhere.

Since the exposure, Toyota has become more toxic.

Fear and stress are eating into people slowly.”

Submission 2.

“Hi Nyakundi, I have worked for Toyota for more than 10 years.

Climbing the ladder depends on how cheap you are as a beautiful lady.

If the manager doesn’t like you, that’s it kwisha wewe.

You will leave with the same package you were offered during employment.

When I realized how Toyota is run under the leadership of Avinder and Anya who by the way happens to be a very devoted Christian.

I just went on my knees and asked God to give me the strength to work under these lost sheep.

I would report to work to do what am expected to do just work and leave the rest to God.

I worked under pressure, extreme humiliation and stress.

If you want to die fast apply for a job in Toyota Kenya.

Wambugu, Adrian and Jemimah they’re all in the wrong place or profession.

Complaints to them are taken as reporting someone.,

The person will be called and told what you said about them.

That’s when you realise you are either working for an individual and not a company.

The entire HR and senior managers should be sent home for running Toyota Kenya like a hostel.”

As the internal investigation into Arvinder Reel proceeds, we encourage more employees at the company to fearlessly come out and unearth deeper details of what is happening at their workplace.

This will help trigger action from relevant authorities who are rumoured to be already pocketed by the suspects.

Their mouths are too full to speak, but ours are not.

We shall be keenly following this developing story with a view to publishing subsequent updates on how things pan out at the company.
