After reading what a patient underwent while at Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at Aga Khan Hospital, I wonder what is happening at the casualty section of the hospital.

Here is a preview:-

Today I went to the Aga Khan clinic at Prestige Plaza with a cough that has lasted for more than 2 weeks. I explained to the “doctor” that in the last three days my symptoms seem to get worse; I have chest pains, headache and I can’t sleep at night due to a very heavy chest (I feel obstructed).

The “doctor” requested for a full blood count which showed a viral infection.

I suggested to the “doctor” that with a lapse of more than 2 weeks and more severe symptoms, a bacterial infection could be at play. What she told me left me wondering if she is a real doctor or a quack. I mean what dis she means by, “respiratory viruses can even take 21 days. If you want we can do an x-ray”

Clearly, this “doctor” has heard of Ebola Virus whose incubation period is 21 days, at the corridors and has no idea its not a respiratory but a hemorrhagic fever virus.

Sad to say, I still have to look for a professional doctor elsewhere after spending my entire morning at this clinic only to leave with paracetamol and anti histamine

A doctor responds

Most coughs and flu are caused by Viral infections including influenza etc. There is no indication for antibiotics as the body immunity is able to sort them out. You only need cough suppressant . A full blood count isn’t diagnostic, but having raised white blood cells may signify a bacterial picture and hence indication for antibiotics. The antibiotic resistance level has increased world wide due to irrational use of antibiotics. I feel the complainant is misinformed and unfair to call the doctor a quack.

DP Ruto’s Ally Mohammed Abdi Noor has threatened to sue Blogger Cyprian Nyakundi for sharing an article from another Blog that he deemed hurting.

The article, done by a different blog was shared on the editor of this website’s Facebook Page. So, Cyprian Nyakundi is being sued for sharing an article, which is crazy. It is like being sued for sharing an article done by say Standard or NMG.

In a WhatsApp Chat, Mohammed Abdi Noor contacted the editor of this site claiming that he has everything from the DCI, despite the fact that DCI doesn’t get involved in civil cases. Maybe some rogue officers are working with crooks like Mohammed Noor to harass bloggers, something we have been fighting for many years.

Cyprian Nyakundi will write to DCI to get a clarification on the statement.

Today, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hillary Mutyambai has declared 4,293 firearm holders who failed to show up for vetting as “armed and dangerous”.

The IGP Hillary has further forwarded the names of the 4293 people to the regional police commanders to effect arrests and confiscate guns held by the said people.

Vetting of gun holders began in February 2019, when Cabinet Secretary for Interior Fred Matiang’i ordered.

Since then, the Civilian Firearms Licensing Board to commence has vetted 9,398 registered gun owners and cleared 6,958. It also confiscated 1,493 firearms and 21,732 assorted ammunition.

For the 4293 gun owners, the seven-day ultimatum they were granted to surrender their guns to the government lapsed on yesterday, Thursday, July 4, 2019.

However, so far, 50 firearms have been surrendered to Police Stations countrywide and 64 to the Firearms Licensing Bureau.

Families of anyone who is deceased and was a gun holder have been advised to immediately surrender the firearms to the Fire Arms Licensing Bureau or the nearest police station within 24 hours. This is the only exceptional case.

On 25th June 2019, local dailies revealed that a man facing charges of racially abusing workers at a dam construction had fled the country.

For the Austrian national, Mr Hinteregger Jurgen, working at the Mwea Thiba Dam project in Kirinyaga,  it was not the first time. He had done it before in another African country, Malawi.

Kenyan employees of Strabag International, a company that hired Mr. Jurgen, had lodged complains with the police accusing him (Mr. Jurgen) of mistreatment and verbal abuses.

Even when working in Malawi, Mr. Jurgen was an employee of Strabag International, a German company. Question is, how do they retain a man with such a past? Jurgen had been deported from Malawi in 2017 on the same charges.

Worse still, who smuggled Mr. Hinteregger Jurgen out of Kenya when the case was still ongoing?

Barely a year after Kenya Red Cross launched Switch TV; the ship seems to be sinking. Our mole at the station indicates that there is a looming retrenchment targeting over 25 employees of the TV station.

On Tuesday afternoon, a meeting by all staff convened by Chief Operating Officer Gommez Joana was just a culmination of a an explosive meeting that took place Wednesday morning in the presence of outgoing Red Cross boss Abbas Gullet, where the tough-talking boss raised the issue of lack of revenue generation at the station that has over 100 employees.

In the presence of all their bosses i.e. Tamima Ibrahim head of programs, Lenny Ruvaga Managing Editor, Kibisu Namulanda head of production and ICT, HR Boss Linah Kowiti and Lucy Hudson; the employees were ordered to further hold departmental meetings to discuss on the way forward.

The station poached top cream in the industry from CITIZEN, NTV, KTN, EBRU and other media stations a year ago with Emmanuel Juma at the helm before he bolted out and rejoined NTV.

Ealier in the year, a poll claimed to have been done by Geo Poll suggested that Switch TV was postion 8 in Kenya with a reach to over 17 million Kenyans. This was questionable; it is also an issue that annoyed Red Cross white-haired outgoing boss Abbas Gullet.

Prior to the station’s launch Abbas engaged the services of a company by the name Zolt from Hungary; Who gave out fake statistics showing that the station will generate 15 million a month.

This of course was good news, but little did they know his statistics were fake despite Red Cross having used millions to set up the station with modern technology procured in a fishy manner. It is estimated that they used over Kshs. 500 million.

Abdikadir Suleiman Omar (pictured above) was arrested by a multi-agency security team on 2nd May 2019 at Archers Post Road as he was ferrying stolen public funds from Moyale worth 3.1 Million in cash.

The money was allegedly stolen from Kenya Bureau of Standards (KeBS). It was public funds. The officer breached public trust by stealing from Kenyans.

The funds was to be remitted to Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) in order to support the government in delivery of basic services to Kenyans. Waswahili walinena siku za mwizi ni arobaini. Probably the day Abdikadir was arrested was his fortieth day.

He ran out of luck. To a few Kenyans Kshs. 3.1 million shillings is peanuts. This is public funds; Kshs 3.1 Million shillings stolen from impoverished Kenyans by a public officer is a serious crime.

The said officer deprived thousands of mothers access to maternal care; 3.1 million shillings stolen deprived many youth of access to employment services; the 3.1 million stolen by one officer deprived children access to essential vaccines; the 3.1 million stolen by Abdikadir deprived university students access to bursary funds.

We fight corruption (mega and micro) wherever it exists and we fight it with religious zeal.

One shilling stolen from Kenyans is one shilling too many. There is no difference between Goldenberg Scandal and the Kshs. 3.1 million shillings stolen by Abdikadir (a public officer) from Kenyans.

The KeBS equally erred.

They should have interdicted the officer and launched internal investigation. Instead KeBS opted to transfer the thief to another department. That is rubbing salt to a wound.

KeBS shouldn’t have given him a transfer.

KeBS is a public entity and must protect the wealth entrusted to them by the people of Kenya.

KeBS should have handed the said officer to the law enforcement agencies.

Abdikadir should have been arraigned in court.

Abdikadir deserves a day in court.

Questions

Why is he out there “serving” the public when he has been implicated in a serious scandal?

Many questions beg for answers. Why was Abdikadir released without further investigation?

Was the said money used to finance, aid and abet terror activities?

Was the cash found in his possession an illegal proceed from drug trafficking?

Did money exchange hands?

Was magistrate bribed to defeat the cause of justice?

We urge the Judicial Service Commission to also investigate the matter.

These are hard questions that beg for hard answers.

We shall write to relevant agencies regarding this matter that touches on national security.

The year 2017 September I purchased a vehicle with Stanbic Bank through asset financing.

I did a deposit of Kshs. 450K and they financed me with Kshs. 900K; so in an a period of 2 months they claimed I was not paying monthly installments as it was required.

But they came and took the car and gave me 14 days to have cleared the arrears. Remember that for 2 months I was paying something which i had. I personally went to the bank and talked to them to explain what had happened to me that had the arrears accrue for 2 months arrears.

We agreed I take something which I have and we continue with the new payment arrangement.

After 4 days I went to the bank with cash of Kshs. 50k since the arrears was Kshs. 90k plus auctioneer’s fee of Kshs. 30k.

They told me the car has been sold.

I was so disappointed. I just moved on since they have sold the car and recovered their loan fully.

Today as we speak they keep on sending me texts that I owe them Kshs. 450k. The car was a unit of Kshs. 1.35 million and I had already used it for a period of 5 months.

If they financed me 900k and I had already payed them for some months, does it mean they sold the car for less than 600k?

So they have already listed me on Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) essentially crippling me, because I cannot get loan from other lenders.

Yaani they have just made my life nought. Am stressed what can I do?

Remember they didn’t even give me any kind of notification…that during this period if I’ll not clear my arrreas they will reposess the car

Who appointed him to this position knowing to well that he has a dual citizenship?

How much does Mr. Adan pay his godfather to continue staying at such a position.

Today, we have evidence that it is true, Mr. Adan is not a Kenyan national. That indeed, his passports bear two different places of birth.

Mr. Adan is said to have gone to Britain claiming refugee status.

Both his passports have different places of birth. His Kenyan passport no. C047160 indicates that he was born in Mandera and British passport No. 538743602 shows he was born in Moqadishu.

It’s against Chapter 6 of Kenya Constitution 2010 for state officer to have dual citizenship as envisaged in article 78 of the constitution.

A petition is being drafted for his removal from office. It will be imperative that he returns all monies drawn in form of salaries and allowances.

He should be investigated by relevant government agencies i.e. the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and State Department of Immigration.

This morning, an identified man chained himself to thwe fence of City Hall building, Nairobi County Government Headquarters, threatening to commit suicde if he will not be allowed to see Preseident Uhuru Kenyatta.

The Governor of Nairobi posted the pictures of the man with the caption, ‘Whoever is near city hall. Huyu jamaa ako hapo sai anasema kama haoni President uhuru sai anajinyonga. One word for him’.

This is lack of compassion for a youth who suffers under they yoke of a tyrannical government that  has never and still doesn’t show them love.

Unemployment is at an all time high.

Suicide rates is at an all time high.

Food prices are at an all time high. The basic and staple food for Kenyan, Maize is retailing near Kshs, 130 from Kshs, 90 two weeks earlier. and this si all a leader can think of.

Kitui West Sub-county interviews for Content Supervisors was flawed.

The interview which was supposed to start at 8.30 Am delayed till 12.30 pm.

The panelists were deliberately very slow expected to interview more than 250 youths before the close of business that day.

Chaos rose from the youths at around 8.00 Pm when “well connected sons and daughters of the rich” who were not even shortlisted attended the interview at night.

The interviews went on the whole night with the last person being interviewed at 6.00 am today.

Vulnerable youths from Kitui West Sub-County spent the night at the offices with some sleeping on the floor and ladies from remote areas were stranded due to lack of transport in at midnight.

Some of the youths were victimized after questioning the malicious acts of the Deputy County Commissioner in the subcounty.

We want the exercise nullified.

They septic tanks are full and spilling on the road posing hazard to the community.

It is a common occurrence year in year out; currently the situation is messy.

The green vegetation, seen in the photos below, are thriving on the overflowing sewer from the septic tank.

The community’s complaints seem to be falling on deaf years.

Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitpoint suspended all services after losing about 3.5 billion yen (Ksh. 3.2 billion) in a hack that involved Ripple and other cryptocurrencies.

The exchange, which is owned by Remixpoint Inc., said about 2.5 billion yen of stolen funds belonged to customers, while Bitpoint owned the rest. Remixpoint shares plunged 19% to their daily lower limit, and were untraded in Tokyo as of 1:44 p.m. on a glut of sell orders.

The funds were stolen from a hot wallet that contained five cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. It said it hasn’t discovered any funds missing from cold wallets.

The exchange was among cryptocurrency operators ordered by Japan’s Financial Services Agency to improve internal controls following the 2018 hack of Coincheck.

A car bomb went off on Friday evening at a hotel in Somalia’s port city of Kismayu where local elders and lawmakers had been discussing an upcoming regional election and was followed by gunfire, police said, adding that the death toll could be high.

The militant Islamist group al Shabaab, which is trying to topple Somalia’s central government, claimed responsibility for the attack and said its fighters had battled their way into the hotel after what they said was a suicide car bomb attack.

One police officer said the gunfire had died down about an hour and a half after the explosion.

“… but we believe the militants are still in the building. We have not confirmed the death toll, but there were many people inside, and there may be a high death toll,” police captain Abdullahi Isak told Reuters by phone.

Major Mohamed Abdi, another police officer, had earlier informed international reporters that local elders and lawmakers were meeting at the Hotel Asasey when the attack happened.

Abdiasis Abu Musab, al Shabaab’s military operation spokesman, has said the militant group had been behind the attack.

“First we targeted (the hotel) with a suicide car bomb and then armed mujahideen (guerrilla fighters) stormed the hotel. We are still fighting inside the hotel. There are many dead bodies inside the hotel, including a dead white man. We control the hotel now.”

Hussein Nur, a shopkeeper in Kismayu, told journalists: “There were many people including officials and elders, mostly from one clan, who were discussing the coming Kismayu election.”

Nur was referring to elections in the city due sometime in August.

Al Shabaab was ejected from Mogadishu in 2011 and has since been driven from most of its other strongholds.

It was driven out of Kismayu in 2012. The city’s port had been a major source of revenue for the group from taxes, charcoal exports and levies on arms and other illegal imports.

Kismayu is the commercial capital of Jubbaland, a region of southern Somalia still partly controlled by al Shabaab.

It remains a major security threat, with fighters frequently carrying out bombings in Somalia and neighbouring Kenya, whose troops form part of the African Union-mandated peacekeeping force that helps defend the Somali government.

Africa does not lack resources and it is not overpopulated.

The conclusion must be that if overpopulation is a problem because it strains the world’s resources, then the first and most efficient way to address it is not in Africa at all, it’s to reduce consumption in the North (Western Countries), which currently uses far more than its share of resources. Secondarily, if rates of population growth continue to fall when standards of living go up, then the easiest way of addressing that – inside Africa – would likely be to stop the massive resource outflow from the continent (to the western countries) , and ensure more of its vast natural wealth remains with and starts fairly benefiting its natural owners.

In other words, to address “overpopulation,” the richer countries must do two things – consume less and stop stealing Africa’s resources.

These men and women, youths, who have chosen to travel to Arabic countries so as to escape unemployment did start a good venture through savings and cooperative society. Now, the problem is, the crook Sacco management, has ate all there money; in short, fucked at home and abroad.

This is there situation. It is very sad and calls for arrests of these economic saboteurs is not enough. They should be hanged a alongside politicians and corrupt businessmen like the ‘fucker of youths’ Chris Kirubi.

The Sacco management seems to have stole all the monies, because, how can you explain that, they cant pay back a low sum such as Kshs. 100,000?

A member was asked to deposit more money to boost her shares but they money later disappeared from the account.The editor of this site has a picture of the check that bounced. The chairman Habakkuk Wamududa, who doubles up as a self-made bishop, and some other Sacco official named Benard Mwayi convinced her to deposit boost her shares so as they give her a loan.

This needs to be investigated.

After the editor of this site exposed the Kenya Qatar Diaspora Sacco Limited (KQDS); more Kenyans that have been scammed by the Sacco shared information in the replies and Facebook page inbox.

The Sacco which is managed by a conman posing as a pastor Habbakuk Wamududa, has perennially failed to honor its promises to its over 3000 members.

Most Kenyan youths leave the country in search of greener pastures in the middle East. They endure much discrimination, Exploitation and untold hardships in order to make ends meet.

Some chose to start a good venture by opening a Savings and Cooperatives by the name of Kenya Qatar Diaspora Sacco Limited, but they ended up duped.

Their story is sad.

The pastor involves himself in looting. For example, in the last elections, he used money stolen from the Sacco to fund the campaigns of a cousin who was running to be a member of County Assembly in Bungoma.

Some have been conned over Kshs. 200,000 yet the Sacco cannot even honor a loan of Kshs. 100,000.

Whoever tries to raise a complaint with the management is fired.

‘This man masquerading as a man of GOD is a very big thief. He has been arrogantly and proudly swindling members money from the sacco’, stated one member

Another member had to involve the services of a lawyer in order to be given back their log books.

It is open thievery, unrestrained like a Greedy Hyena.

‘That Wamudu is a highly corrupt arrogant taxi driver.. that’s the only thing he can do hiding under the bible and long gowns with a priestly collar!’, another member shouted.

Where did the money go?

The management led by Habakkuk has used the savings of hardworking Kenyans to enrich themselves.

I joined the sacco in June 2016.. And my hopes and vision was to stear to a better life and future. At the time my son was in 4th form and my daughter was in 3rd form.. I had envisioned that in 3 years time I’ll have saved enough for their college.. So I started saving and focused on their future….
Fast forward 2019 my son is to join Chuka University in September and my Daughter is to join Maasai Mara University at the same time…. All my savings hopes and dreams are to say mildly.. Dead….my company declared me redandunt in Feb 2019 but I got another job although not as good..I needed something to hang on to as we iron out things in the sacco.
My hopes were in this sacco where I had saved.. How can I tell my children that they will not be able to go to the university because I invented badly.

1. He always used harsh words to anyone that could ask a question this was his cover to avoid scrutiny by making members afraid to ask questions to avoid embarrassment.
2. He insisted that the committee should never be given allowances this was to make them loose interest in attending the meetings, how can people appointed to take care of our millions use their own money instead of saving to serve us, kwani hii ni comeette ya matanga?
3. He used to pinpoint some of the people that he knows very well they have benefited and praise them how they are ‘millionaires’ before people, little did we realize he was fooling others. I have personally made so many investment mistakes in life BUT the worst of them all was to join kqd. I personally can swallow the bullet what of the people I convinced to join kqd???? NKT

Message Four: Dictatorship by the Chairman and Con pastor Habakkuk Wamududa

I was bundled out of office in one of the AGM!…after a bitter exchange with the chairman on WhatsApp group and he told me “I will know his true colours”…members cheered him on!…truly time heals everything!…I stood my ground and I said “serving as a board member is not a matter of life and death to me there so many able Kenyan who could perform the task better than me”. That was the time I was replaced by Eric Mwale….even elections were not done in a proper way but I said “haidhuru”…time will tell!…

These are the same people that can’t account for Kshs. 200,000 deposited hours earlier in the Saccos account, even if one asks for Kshs. 100,000 loans a few minutes later, they won’t get.

Hi Cyprian I have just been reading about Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and am actually wondering when an Institution I work for will be exposed as well. Employers are surrounded under what seems like ‘new management’ and a lot of secrets that have swept under.

I work at the Management University of Africa (MUA) which is sponsored by KIM and I am requesting for anonymity regarding this issue.

The management of this University is rotten and dictatorship is taking a toll on the employees. We are operating under divide and rule and salaries and employment are being done on the basis of who someone who.

The Board and the Trustees have done nothing to ensure a smooth transition of employees from one point to the other.

Just a few days ago, employees have been sent an email that stating that there’s a duty rota for preparing tea. Can you imagine this?

Mileage, Uber taxi services and entertainment is given only for the four big wigs and any other person is told to use public means or walk to meetings.

I have solid evidence of all this.

Each department will make tea for one week for all staff, security and cleaners. There is a tea urn at the kitchen and what is expected is just to fill the tea urn with milk and water. Because of the capacity of the tea urn, you will be required to boil the water and milk twice.

Hi Nyakundi aka El Prezda,

There are some rogue KK security company’s staff especially managers who have joined forces with some corrupt Security Managers to steal from Guards.

To be on point, INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF KENYA  (ISK) has a safety and security manager – Mr. Robert Onyango – who has colluded with some KK Staff and are pocketing almost 10,000 (ten thousand) Kenyan shillings meant for guards.

Initially, when we were posted to ISK we used to receive an allowance of Kshs. 14,600 each, money which was being raised by the parents who have pupils in ISK. Then later on, the security manager at that time left and was replaced by Mr. Onyango – who holds a dual citizenship both Kenyan and Canadian.

Now, this is where things started changing. Within a short period of time our allowances were reduced to Kshs. 4,600 without any explanation, our weekly off duty days reduced to one from two days, we started missing going for our off-duty days.

Please, Mr Nyakundi, expose these thieves.

Genuine clients appreciate the work we Guards do and have decided to top up something for us but then it gets stolen along the way by the same people entrusted with our welfare. It sucks.
