The ladies’ section at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club, Nairobi, now accuses the management of abetting sexual misconduct by its male members.
Writing to this blog on Tuesday, October 4, a source at the highly esteemed establishment disclosed that some patrons have developed a habit of exploiting waitresses and other female staff for sexual favours because it is an open secret that they are underpaid, and their salaries are always delayed.
Just recently, one of the waitresses caused a frenzy after showing off the number of male members who have watched her pants drop.
Multiple complaints have been forwarded to the management regarding the matter, but instead of taking necessary action, they threaten the girls with dismissal.

As for the lawsuits, 45 former employees of the establishment are still in search of justice three years after the unfair termination of their contracts on grounds of supposed redundancy.
In July this year, they sued Nairobi Golf Hotels (Kenya) Limited, which owns and operates the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club over the Sh22 million dues.
From court, papers seen by cnyakundi.com, Windsor was accused of failing to adhere to the provisions of the Employment Act in the redundancy exercise, which amounted to unfair termination and, more importantly, for failing to take into account the factors enumerated therein.
Most of the employees served the hotel for over fifteen years until they were sacked in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Despite their terminal dues being calculated by the former employer, the hotel continues to hold them close to three (3) years down the line, and most of the former employees now live in abject poverty.
Others have been forced to relocate upcountry as they are unable to sustain their livelihood in the city.
It is alleged that the company’s rogue officials have set up intentional delays in the process to buy time for unlawfully changing the agreed figures.
