An affluent city businessman based in Kiambu County has come under the spotlight for failing to honour payment terms as agreed upon with his employees.
Speaking exclusively to cnyakundi.com on Thursday, May 5, 2022, a disgruntled worker at the Hàcana Sanctuary along Mugumo Drive revealed that he is yet to receive his salary for close to four months now.
The source who worked as a counsellor at the wellness centre says that the owner Mr James Njoroge owes him in excess of Sh45,000 for the period of January, February and March.
Mr Njoroge is also the owner of Karen Inn Hotel and Soil Holdings Limited where staffers are reportedly suffering the same painful experience.
“Hi, Nyakundi,
I need your help.
I was recently working for one Mr James Njoroge at Hàcana Sanctuary and I have not received my January, February, March salary.
He owes me a cool 45k.
Worked for him as a counsellor at his Wellness Center at Mugumo drive in Kiambu County.
He is also the owner of Karen Inn Hotel and Soil Holdings Limited – a property management agency and the situation is the same there also kindly assist,” the source writes.
