Caption: Cooperative Bank Chairman Stanley Muchiri. He lives in a house that he stole from a widow. These are the old cows who advise President Uhuru Kenyatta. And you wonder why Kenya is headed to the dogs.
As we have previously mentioned, Cooperative Bank is headed by a bunch of thieves led by the Managing Director Gideon Muriuki and Chairman Stanley Muchiri. Both are great friends of President Uhuru Kenyatta and the bank recently donated Kshs. 5 Million to Rachel Ruto as protection money so that her husband William “Jamaa wa Kutenga” Ruto can block the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) from investigating them.
It’s a pity because in a recent article after Beyonce’s Lemonade visual-album release, we had celebrated Rachel Ruto as the strong woman behind William Ruto’s metoric rise to power. We didn’t know that she’d be so cheap as to accept Kshs. 5 Million from a corrupt bank that was using her to warm their way into her husband.
We hereby ask Rachel Ruto to refund the Kshs. 5 Million donated to her foundation by Cooperative Bank for the following reason.
Stanley Muchiri lives in Muranga County. Prior to that, he lived in a region called Kamahuha, where he headed the local famers cooperative society, the vehicle in which he ascended to prominence and chairmanship of Cooperative Bank.
His current residence was acquired after he fraudulently hijacked a title-deed from his bank, that had been used to borrow the money. The house was owned by an individual who passed away, and despite calls by the widow and commitment to repay, Stanley Muchiri used his influence as Chairman of Cooperative Bank to evict the widow and her children, using auctioneers.
Stanley Muchiri then moved into the residence, where he lives to date. We had also singled him out as a promiscuous old man, who spends his free time liaising with girls the age of his grand-daughters. These are the kind of old men who advise President Uhuru Kenyatta, and no wonder the economy is collapsing.
Why should we have directors in Cooperative Bank using privileged information passed to them by the thief Gideon Muriuki, in-order to harass and takeover property, contrary to laid down banking ethics?
Why was Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission boss Halakhe Waqo bribed by Stanley Muchiri and Gideon Muriuki to overlook the crimes committed? Why is Waqo still in office yet he’s the most incompetent and corrupt Government official after the Presidency?
If Halakhe Waqo cannot arrest and ask the Director of Public Prosecutions to charge Stanley Muchiri, Gideon Muriuki and the entire board, we request that he resign and pave way for someone who’s less greedy than himself.
We still reiterate that Rachel Ruto must publicly refund the money donated to her by Cooperative Bank, lest her husband goes down with the bank.
