The country is grappling with coronavirus pandemic which can easily be wiped out by soap and water, in short, good hygiene.
Yet, the government which was boasting for over two months stating it was prepared to handle the coronavirus, hadn’t foresaw the issue of lack of water in mist estates in Nairobi.
Is the Ksh 6.1 billion received from World Bank also be out to good use in repairing waterways and drainage facilities in Nairobi? I doubt.
The City seems to be on a ‘Jesus take the wheel’ moment.
Hi Nyakundi,
Please there’s a major problem of water shortage in South C especially Mugoya Estate phase four. Some houses always have their water very late at night and early morning at 5am then the water is no more.
We are asking if this is really happening in other places in Nairobi or its only in South C.
We have severally complained about it with no response.
The country had very long rains and so we fail to understand why all these evils goes on in our estate.
I’m writing this to reach the water company if they can read this let them do something and address this problem please if it’s possible or give us water from evening to at least midday. Some of us are already retired and so we have nothing no liquid money to keep on buying water. This is like a real punishment to the entire estate members. They even come to disconnect the water when they well know that we never receive the water as supposed to be.
Please speak on behalf of the estate to the water company if possible.
