A few days ago, we run an expose’ revealing that China Southern Airline was still flying to Kenya despite the suspension they had announced in February 10th 2020.
What is more shocking is the blatant lie by the Ministry of Health – Kenya and the Chinese Embassy. Yesterday, after having been caught red-handed landing at JKIA, claimed that the ‘flights have resumed TODAY’.
Matter of fact is that they lied.
We have shared screenshots of flightstats showing a potentially coronavirus-ladedn China Southern Airlines landed at JKIA on 21st and 22nd February 2020.
If you head to flighstats now, you can be able to see status of flights since 24th February; cnyakundi.com can confirm that the planes have been coming to Kenya since their alleged suspension.
So by suggesting that the flights resumed TODAY (that is yesterday), and that only one flight instead of four per week will be entering Nairobi is a terrible lie, a colonialist and racist language.
Kenyans are even wondering why the government has failed to bring back all Kenyans stuck in Wuhan Province, the most hit by the COVID-19 virus, yet the flights from China haven’t stopped.
So Kenyan students are stuck in China but Chinese planes are allowed to land in JKIA and the Chinese are told to self-quarantine. Kenya tulikosea wapi?#coronaviruskenya #CoronavirusOutbreak #SonkoSurrenders

All the 239 passengers aboaord the China Southern Airline were told to self-quarantine but the picture below speaks volumes
People like Mutahi Kagwe, the incoming Health Cabinet Secretary performed a little better under the Kibaki regime but as his interview in parliament showed, he is ready to swim in the murk just to have this job.
We are doomed if the CS nominee who has already been vetted by parliament, (we didn’t really think he would be rejected), started by stating that NHIF contributions should be increased. NHIF senior management led by board chair Ms Hannah Muriithi have looted the national health insurer to the ground.
