CAPTION: Laikipia Woman Representative Catherine Waruguru (in coloured dera and pink Buibui) and her married boyfriend Peter Waweru (in purple shirt) when they invaded his wife’s house in Mombasa

Neighbours of the estranged wife to Kirinyaga County Chamber of Commerce Chairman Peter Waweru witnessed a rare piece of drama on Wednesday afternoon after the budding businessman and a close associate of Governor Anne Waiguru made a surprise visit to her Mombasa home.

Mr Waweru was accompanied by Laikipia County Woman’s Representative Catherine Waruguru who recently publicly admitted to being the businessman’s girlfriend.

According to a source who spoke to cnyakundi.com, the two showed up unannounced and forcefully made entry into Zippy’s house at the coast from which it is alleged they want to evict her.

The source went on to reveal that following the heated altercation, they roughed her up, tore her clothes apart and broke her mobile phone which she was using to record the unfolding incident.

Also in their company was an alleged property valuer from Britam Insurance who came to inspect the house under Peter Waweru’s instructions.

According to the scared wife, Mr Waweru intends to sell the house and render her homeless then thereafter take away their children.

From images exclusively sent to this site’s Chief Editor Cyprian Nyakundi, Waruguru could be seen concealing her face with a pink Buibui shawl as Peter Waweru’s estranged wife got into her car and drove away.

Revealed: Dumped Waruguru Now Cohabiting With Married Kirinyaga Chamber of Commerce Chairman Peter Waweru

“Hi, Cyprian Remember this Waruguru story?

So my friend tells me that Waruguru has intruded on her house in Mombasa.

They’ve broken her phone where she had all the photos She’s scared to talk so she wants me to call the media.

She’s heading to the cop station. Waruguru hiding in the Bui Bui. Peter in Purple.

Zippy’s estranged husband who is cohabiting with Waruguru.

They wanted to forcibly evict her from her home. They roughed her up tore her clothes and broke her phone.

A valuer from Britam insurance. My friend suspects they want to sell the house and take away her kids which is what they told her. Waruguru in front of the house in question…”

Reports that Waruguru had snatched Zippy’s husband first began doing rounds in late 2020 when the legislator broke up with her lawyer husband Kiprotich William Kiget after DNA results proved the children they had sired were not his.

In December Waruguru finally broke her silence and finally admitted the claims that she had snatched married Kirinyaga County Chamber of Commerce Chairman Peter Waweru and made him neglect his wife and kids.

Not new to headlines, Waruguru stunned Kenyans in December 2017 when she revealed that she was happy being a second wife.

In July 2018, just a year later, Waruguru and her ex-husband, William, were turned away from a Kericho hotel for failure to produce a marriage certificate.

Waruguru had accompanied her husband to Kericho, to visit her inlaws when the incident ensued.

In the clip that emerged on Thursday evening, two daring men on a motorcycle slowly approach a kid and a teenager who were recording TikTok videos across a street before one of them quickly jumps off the bike and targets the mobile phone.

Loud cries can be heard in the background as the guy armed with a knife struggled to grab the smartphone away from the terrified kid.

The video was uploaded on social media by a Kenyan named Paul Gitau who only gave scanty details on the shocking incident.

“A close call. Just happened in Kikuyu steel rolling mills. Robbery in broad daylight,” he wrote on Twitter.

Check it out below.

Police Forced To Intervene After Kabarnet Residents Attempted To Strip Woman Naked

Residents of Kabarnet in Baringo County witnessed quite an eventful morning on Friday as the drama unfolded over a skimpily dressed woman in the town.

From social media posts seen by cnyakundi.com, the angry mob of locals claimed the miniskirt she had worn was too short and attempted to strip her naked as a punishment for her lack of morals.

It took the efforts of market women who locked the young lady in one of her shops and offered her some decent clothing.

Police officers from the area had to move in quickly and safely escorted her into their vehicle.

Here are the photos from the drama below.

Today’s incident in Kabarnet town rings memories of the My Dress My Choice campaign that was launched in November 2014, after a video went viral on social media showing some rogue matatu crew stripping a woman naked for allegedly dressing indecently in Embakasi.

Seven years after this campaign that got the international community’s attention, it seems women are still not completely safe in public.

‘Nairobi Metropolitan Services shortchanged us’, nurses on contract say

$

Nurses who were hired on contractual basis blame the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) for not renewing their contracts despite a memo from Public Service Commission (PSC) advising so.

When NMS took over some functions of the Nairobi County Government, many people celebrated that for once, the cartel that thrives on corruption, looting and prostitution had been dealt with.

A few years later, it turns out that Mohammed Badi is just as bad as they come; too much PR on the streets but no work done.

People claim that military rulers are efficient, but look at Badi; it fits perfectly that he is doing other things rather than what he was appointed to do. The office is illegal and unnecessary even no as drainage and medical facilities are operating on conmanship.

Hi Nyakundi,

I am a clinical officer by profession and until recently my colleagues and I were employed by MOH through NMS.

We were sent to different facilities across Nairobi on short term contracts 3 and 6 months (The first of its kind) probably to manage Covid-19.

We are about 300 across all cadres. We did work through the 2nd wave of Covid-19 risking our lives without proper PPEs, medics went on strike and we took charge of running the facilities.

The first group left around Jan when their contract ended, I was in the 6 months’ contract that has just ended in April from November.

At some point PSC sent a memo to have our contract renewed but NMS has been taking us in circles, they recently employed a new group on 3-year contract, overlooking us. Worse they have been deducting our KRA, NSSF and NHIF without paying for them. Are you able to run a story, we need to know exactly their stance, we need to go back to work and offer our services to the patients especially now that 24 hospitals are being opened by NMS and KNH would be attending to referrals only from July.

We are in limbo. Some of us left good jobs to join the government. I know of a colleague who came all the way from Wajir and it’s really unfair.

We actually thought they will incorporate us in the 3 year contract considering the situations we have worked through. We need closure.

Oparanya’s Fake N@K£D Photo Goes Viral

The internet was set ablaze on Friday night after a shocking image depicting a naked Kakamega governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya went viral on social media.

The photo that heavily circulated online was craftily manipulated on Photoshop to make it look like the ODM Party Deputy Leader was lying in bed next to a naked slay queen young enough to be his daughter.

When the image first emered, many were quickly duped into believing it was real and some even went on social media to ridicule and castigate the Council of Governors (COG) Chairman over such an irresponsible incident.

Moments later, however, it was eventually revealed that the image was in fact just a clever manipulation and not that of a naked Oparanya.

CAPTION: The photoshopped image of Governor Oparanya

CAPTION: The photoshopped image of Governor Oparanya

At the moment it is still unclear who might have been behind this latest act of digital assault on the good governor but speculations are rife it could be the work of ODM bloggers as an attempt to punish Mr Oparanya over his stance on the controversial BBI.

Two months ago, Wycliffe Oparanya suggested that the BBI referendum be pushed to next year so that available resources can be used to deal with the current Covid-19 pandemic.

He argued the third wave of Covid-19 posed a serious danger to Kenyans and all the resources and energy should be directed to containing the virus.

The High Court on Wednesday also stopped President Uhuru Kenyatta from proceeding with the changes to the Constitution.

Five judges declared the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) illegal, null and void.

The bench issued a permanent injunction restraining the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) from conducting the referendum.

DCI Intimidates 2 Nanyuki Bloggers For Exposing Corruption At BATUK

$

CAPTION: British Army Training Unit in Kenya (BATUK) Human Resource officers Irene Mbugua and Robinson Ateya: They are accused of practising corruption and nepotism at BATUK

Two bloggers are crying out over what they term as clear intimidation by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) after they exposed corruption at the British Army Training Unit in Kenya (BATUK).

According to Nanyuki-based blogger Fidel Wangai alias “Fidel Jesus”, some sleuths from the DCI Nanyuki branch summoned him to their offices alongside his colleague Martin Gathai and accused them of “posting bad things” against BATUK’s HR Manager Irene Mbugua.

This was after the two bloggers brought her under the spotlight over rampant corruption in the hiring process at the training support unit.

“Hi Cyprian, I hope that you are well. My name is Fidel Wangai a.k.a Fidel Jesus, a Nanyuki based blogger. On Thursday I was summoned to the Nanyuki DCI offices together with my fellow admin Martin Gathai,” he writes.

After they honoured the summons and showed up at the DCI Nanyuki offices, they were subjected to a gruesome day-long process after which all their gadgets were confiscated, fingerprints taken and then allowed to go home.

When speaking to this site’s Chief Editor Cyprian Nyakundi, Fidel Jesus revealed that during the entire process no kind of documentation or booking took place.

They only threatened them that their phones would be taken to Nairobi for forensic investigations.

Corruption at BATUK under Irene Mbugua

According to the two Nanyuki bloggers, BATUK’s Human Resource officers Irene Mbugua and Robinson Ateya have made it impossible for locals to get jobs at BATUK without paying bribes or being related to either of them.

In some of their publications which we have shared below, they wrote severally to the BATUK leadership, County Government, County Commissioner, and even the Labour Office in Nanyuki, seeking an audience but the training unit kept playing dodgy.

They accuse Irene Mbugua and Robinson Teya of taking advantage of the shortlisting process to sell BATUK’s job vacancies to the highest bidder; which is mostly their relatives.

“As others were applying the right way, Robinson and Irene were hiring through the back door and the genuine applications are sent to the dustbin.

The positions are filled through corruption, nepotism and favouritism, Batuk does not know that. They will be told that the positions were filled and they go back to the gym or golf club,” one post reads in part.

After the constant social media onslaught, BATUK finally broke their silence in March through a vague Facebook statement in which they denied the claims.

But going through some of the comments under the post, it is still clear as day that corruption is rife in their hiring process.

In October 2020 Fidel and his colleague Gathai wrote to BATUK seeking an audience to address some of their employment irregularities but they did not respond.

This pushed them to pursue other means like social media to communicate their message.

What is a fish factory doing in Nyeri?

$

Change of Guard: The Guardians of the colonial interests with no tangible development and improvement in the lives of fellow Kenyans. BBI is not the way, greed galore.

Kenya is a land of gluttons’ serving self-interests. But this is the bane of human beings. However, sometimes, the decisions made in Kenya by government officials in ministries baffles.

For example, what is a fish factory doing in the middle of Central Kenya region?

The region is inhabited by Bantu speaking tribes whose staple meal consists of plant protein, mashed up into some boring and yucky-lump, taken with a lot of soup most times. They are not fish eaters.

The lame 8.4.4 system (Not lamer than CBC) taught us to celebrate things like, ‘Thika Town is the most industrialized town in Kenya’, yet doesn’t answer why Kicomi, Rivatex, sugar factories and Railway workshops had collapsed in the Western Region.

Education as they say is a tool of control.

Right from the onset, we were bombarded with made up heroic stories about Jomo Kenyatta and then the Kikuyus in Mau Mau. Any resistance of British rule by any tribe was suppressed or viewed from the point of Mau Mau. So, as early as 4 years old, we were taught that Kikuyus are different, sometimes lied to that they are superior (economically) and so forth as so on.

As we grew, this was evident in that we, the whole of Kenya in the other regions have to travel to Nairobi, the center of Kenya which was in the past part of Central Kenya Province.

It is at this place that we find all or a lot of things that one needs. Welcome to the big city which is just a few hundred shillings to Kiambu, Thika or Limuru.

Economic marginalisation of other places in Kenya should not be accepted

It is at Nairobi’s industrial area that Nile Perch (Mbuta) is processed to be airlifted from JKIA to Europe.

They do this in total disregard for two able airports, Kisumu International Airport and Eldoret International Airport. The two sit idle waiting to receive sexcapades from MPs and their clandes who spend time in the many ‘resorts’ that adorn this piece of land, the forgotten and marginalized part of Kenya known as Western Circuit.

Why would a fish factory be constructed in Nyeri instead of Homabay, Kisumu or Port Victoria (Busia County)?

It goes back to the explanation of 8.4.4; the lie to people so as to oppress them. Economic marginalization is a construct of the British passed on to the Kikuyus, who have ‘ruled’ the country since independence.

READ:

[Forgotten Lot] Resident Highlights Painful Harassment Of Kenyan Fishermen By Uganda Police In Raila’s Backyard

Some will argue that this, the central, is where international flights take off from, but that argument, I have already debunked in my airport’s explanation.

KAA will still receive its share of taxes if a plane takes off from Mombasa, Eldoret, Lodwar or Kisumu, carrying fish to international markets.

This kind of marginalization has been tried to be corrected for over 20 years now. The 2020 constitution and the Building Bridges Initiative looked towards the correction of these, but were/ continue to be hijacked by special interest from Central Kenya and the British who fear losing Nanyuki as they did Karen.

The British moved from Karen to Nanyuki so that they can mingle not with the commoners, the black Africans. But the problem is that Mungiki has since followed them there and Maina Njenga, so called former leader of the Mungiki (no one says who is currently in charge), has sent shivers down their spine. Maina solely controlled how BBI is voted for at the Laikipia County Assembly. There are some other escapades of his on this apartheid land.

So, the Mungikism at Nanyuki and larger Laikipia, has necessitated the ‘discovery’ of an ancient burial site somewhere far away; at Panga ya Saidi near the Kenyan coast. The muzungu is afraid and wants to move once more. Talk of feeding the crocodile in hopes of eating one last.

But I digress.

There was no point in creating fish ponds in Sagana, no point of having a mbuta slaughterhouse at Baba dogo road in Nairobi’s industrial area, no point of building an over Sh50 million fish factory in Nyeri; which failed anyway.

Economic marginalization must end.

All Kenyans need jobs and if you ask well, not many people want to come to Nairobi, so stop your bulshit, you Kikuyu elites.

The government must not treat Remba and Migingo islands as some sort of foreign lands. Lake Victoria fish can feed Kenya well. Plus we have Indian Ocean.

What is a fish factory doing in Nyeri, Central Kenya?

Ezekiel Mutua, CEO, Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB)

Employees of the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) are a worried lot after the state agency sent out a memo that their salaries will be delayed.

“The Board has experienced an inordinate delay in receiving the Fourth Quarter Exchequer for the period April to June 2021, thus occasioning a delay in the payment of salaries for the month of April”, the internal memo dated 6th May 2021 stated in part.

The downtrodden staff say this habit has made it impossible for them to improve their lives as financial institutions deny them loan facilities.

Vipi mzito. Ezekiel Mutua is running KFCB kama bedroom yake.  KFCB staff can’t take loans in many banks coz the banks fear their money won’t be remitted even after being deducted kwa payslip”,

The source further accused the management led by Ezekiel Mutua of non-remittance of statutory deductions.

“Then saccos too they don’t remit. KRA inawadai. Am not a staff there but najua. Ame issue memo ya delay in salaries. Kama ya KU or is it JKUAT’, the source wrote.

The Memo signed by the CEO Mutua however assured the staff that they are working to correct the delay.

“The Board made the requisition on time but unfortunately there has been a delay due to circumstances beyond our control.  Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to follow up the matter and will process the salaries as soon as the Exchequer is released.  We regret the inconvenience caused by the delay and urge for your patience and understanding”

Kilifi County Governor Amason Kingi

A voice is heard in Kilifi, mourning and great weeping. A mother weeping for her child and refusing to be comforted, because it is no more

Negligence by nurses at the Kilifi County Hospital have caused a mother to lose her unborn baby.

According to a video sent to the chief editor of this site, the medical staff who were attending to the lady knew very well she couldn’t deliver normally but through the caesarian section.

They nonetheless went ahead to put her on hold for longer, then injecting her with birth inducing drugs. Through this series of malpractice, the baby died.

“…kutoka lini mtu wa CS anazaa mwenyewe? Mmepatia mateso sana huyu msichana, huyu msichana maeteseka. Kutoka thursday ameumwa na uchungu daktari wakimwambia sijua mashine imeharibika…naskia uchungu sana…mumeumiza sana…hii lazima nitapata haki”, said a sister to the affected.

The family of the woman are now calling for justice.

Martin Luther Primary School in Makadara

Land grabbing is a vice that doesn’t spare anything in it sights.

Teachers and community living around Martin Luther Primary School in Makadara are a worried lot as a private developer seeks to grab part of the school’s land.

“Morning bro, I have received the following message from Martin Luther Primary School in Makadara, a public school, where the school is being grabbed by a private developer today”, a parent wrote.

Kenyans can help amplify this message, share the link to this article, tweet, whatsapp, Facebook and call out this impunity.

You can even join in the planned demonstration.

According to the source, the land has been grabbed with blessings from state officials on the interior ministry. This explains why the state wants to use police to tear gas and beat the demonstrators.

The head teacher is also disturbed by the development, the source said.

Martin Luther Primary School in Makadara needs your help.

In January 2015, pupils at the Langata Road Primary School defended their school playground against land grabber William Ruto.

The Deputy President had tried to grab the land to convert it into a car parking space for Weston Hotel.

A chilling video clip of a daring robbery in Mlango Kubwa area of Mathare, Nairobi is currently doing the rounds on social media.

The undated footage captures a group of three thugs vigorously frisking a man in broad daylight before making away with all his valuables.

In the shocking incident that took place under the glare of public attention, two men first approached the unlucky victim from his front before a third thug joined in from behind, totally blocking his way.

Within the split of a second, the group quickly began ransacking the gentleman shortly before one of them pulled a gun to his head and forced him to move to the side of the street so they could give him another proper body search.

The occupants of a saloon car next to the alley can be seen scampering for safety and hurriedly locking their doors.

Luckily for the guy, they let him walk free just moments later.

Mlango Kubwa area, according to police, is one of the hot spots associated with armed robbers.

CAPTION: Andrew Kibe of Rogue Radio

Radio personality Andrew Kibe has sparked reactions on social media after the self-made YouTube content creator revealed the news of his latest project which focuses on helping Kenyan men dissect the contentious issue of masculinity.

Through his Instagram and Twitter pages, Kibe who previously worked in the crooked mainstream media announced the program dubbed “Kibe Masterclass” which will have its first edition on the 21st of May 2021 through an online Webinar.

Attached to the message was a post showcasing the topics which Kibe will tackle.

Some of them include;

  1. Why men have to become more selfish
  2. Good guys finish last
  3. Instruct don’t discuss
  4. Foreplay is for simps
  5. What else after sex

In order to access the link to the Zoom webinar participants will have to part way with Sh1,250 per person.

On the caption, Kibe borrowed the Great Bob Marley’s popular quote, “Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds.”

Andrew Kibe parted ways with Radio Africa Owned station Kiss 100 in June 2020 after 1 year at the station.

After he lost his job Kibe partnered with a friend and built a studio from where he launched his own station “Rogue Radio” stream in November 2020.

Before landing on mainstream radio, Kibe cut a niche for himself online with his comedic, expletive-laden rants on various social topics.

Carrying a similar approach to radio, he cultivated a huge fanbase that is likely to tune in wherever he goes.

Will the results be the same with his latest program? Only time will tell.

Alert Magoha: A church has grabbed a school land in Trans Nzoia County

Education CS George Magoha

A piece of land belonging to a school in Kwanza, Trans Nzoia County has been grabbed by a church.

Land grabs, though rampant in Kenya, are a bad thing. In addition to environmental concerns, land grabs also have social ramifications. Land grabs expose poor people to hunger, violence and the threat of a lifetime in poverty. Furthermore, land grabs result in the displacement of local people, which is detrimental to their human rights.

Dear Sir,

REF; KEESE PRIMARY SCHOOL VERSUS RCEA CHURCH

The above school is found in TRANSNZOIA COUNTY, KWANZA SUBCOUNTY, KWANZA DIVISION, KAPOMBOI LOCATION, KAPKOI SUBLOCATION; PLOT #211

The above Church which happens to be the sponsor of the school has taken advantage of being the sponsor to grab playing field of the school.

They have ploughed the school field which they claim to be church’s land yet the above didn’t donate any piece of land as initially the school land belonged to a whiteman by the name Mr. KEESE.

I have attached letters earlier addressed to different concerned officers at the County level but my efforts have hit a dead end as no help is coming through.

Corruption Cripples Development In Trans Nzoia

The pastor together with the DEO and local administrations have resulted to intimidate the BOM and teachers, the one DEO, is leading the onslaught by purporting that the school land had been subdivided yet there are no written minutes on the same and the BOM is unaware of the meetings on the subdivision.

I have also attach letters that had been earlier issued by the ministry of lands and P.S for education together with a green card in support that the land belongs to the school am looking forward for immediate actions to stop this heinous act on our children.

How can they overwork people from morning to nine oclock then they pay 400bob?  does Kenya labor laws allow people to be mistreated?

Before the Covid-19, imagine the net salary was Sh12000 and people work close their shift late night.

I will appreciate for your help they need to face law for violating workers right and under paying their staff and also for talking advantage of workers.

Safety Concerns As M-Gas Safaricom Cylinders Catch Fire in Baba Dogo

Head of M-Gas Volker Schultz (left), takes then acting Safaricom CEO Mr. 10% Michael Joseph through the dynamics of the gas innovation at Metta, Riverside, Nairobi on January 13, 2020.

In the recent past, there have been complaints about Safaricom’s poor services, with many Kenyans very concerned that the once ‘great’ company has deteriorated since the demise of Bob Collymore.

The editor of this site a few years ago warned Kenyans about Safaricom’s dominance and their attempt to conquer every sector of the Kenyan economy.

For many years, Safaricom Dominance has been a headache in Kenya with a 2019 report being swept under the carpet. Safaricom, while a monopoly, played games in this splitting up issue and the Company paid lobbyists large sums of money to petition the government and the cabinet secretary to outrightly reject the report without the participation of other stakeholders.

This saw the bringing on board the likes of Dr. Bitange Ndemo. Who are the influential people that were bought off to kill the report?

Safaricom KPMG Audit: The Difference Between Mzungu Corruption & Black Corruption

Why the report was not first subjected to participation reveals Safaricom’s control and power to influence everything. In a nutshell, the Bill wanted telecommunication companies to split their core business from other ventures and seek regulatory approvals for each.

Safaricom partnered with M-Gas to provide cooking gas to low-income households at an affordable and flexible price in January 2020.

But now, those that have used M-Gas are complaining of being ripped off as it later turns out to be a very expensive venture. Some Baba Dogo residents CNYAKUNDI.COM spoke to informed us that the electronic payment regulator produces some sparks hence the recent explosions and fires.

Some residents that have tried to seek compensation have not succeeded and are demanding answers from Safaricom. Our investigations have confirmed that this has happened three times in Baba Dogo. Those with similar cases can email me hello@cnyakundi.com or 0710280973- Whatsapp.

The residents are threatening to stop using the Safaricom M-Gas products unless the safety concerns that have been hidden from the public are addressed.

A company called Rehal Energy LTD supplies to Baba Dogo.

On the day that he would have marked his 40th birthday, a section of Kenyan netizens has expressed their desire to have a street named after legendary hip hop artist Issah Mmari Wangui, better known by his stage name E-Sir.

This idea was sparked by a social media post by E-Sir’s childhood friend David Mathenge alias “Nameless” in which he paid tribute to the rapper who became famous for his deft lyrical ability and command of the Swahili language in the early 2000s.

He suggested that due to his immense influence in the Kenyan music industry, E-Sir fully deserves at least a street in his hood South C.

“With all the guys he inspired with his works I think he deserves a street in south C to be named after him. E-Sir Lane. Let’s push for this to happen,” Nameless wrote on Instagram.

In the comments section, many of E-Sir’s fans echoed Nameless’ remarks in agreeance that the legendary star ‘s achievements would be worth the recognition.

Street naming in Kenya

During the period of British rule toponymy was used as an exercise of power and it reflected British control.

Soon after Kenya gained independence, streets were renamed as a way to renounce the colonial regime and its ideology.

Flash forward to today, Kenyans are starting to question the naming of important public spaces after a few individuals, their families and political affiliates – the ‘political dynasties’.

Many feel that looking forward, the government should consider honouring other people who have contributed to the growth of Kenya as a country – for instance its athletes, academicians and artistes.

This Guy E-Sir

The legendary E-Sir was a Kenyan hip hop artist.

He was born Issah Mmari Wangui on May 20th, 1981 and died on the 16th of 2003 and was the elder brother to fellow Kenyan rapper Habib.

To date, E-Sir is remembered for changing the game in the Kenyan music scene.

Long after his death, he is still widely regarded as one of the best rappers to emerge on the Kenyan hip hop scene.

#BadiRudiBarracks: Please share widely and warn other Nairobians

As Received. Please share widely and warn others. #BadiArudiBarracks

Last Saturday morning @5am my friend Stone, a fellow jogger walked right into the 6feet open ditch (below)around Precious Blood Riruta on his way to exercise along the pedestrians pathway that was recently done by Nairobi Metropolitan Services. There was nothing to alert or warn him of the wide gaping hole.

Two other passersby saw him fall into it but for some reason did not assist, he pulled himself out, albeit with a lot of pain.
He tried to run but realized his right ankle was swollen and he was in lots of pain so he walked slowly back home.

After some rest he went out his duties but at 10am after taking some tea he felt a sharp pain on his left abdomen. He took some painkillers like what most of us do but did not help much.

Later on at 1pm he started sweating profusely and had nausea and headaches, that’s when he rushed to Nrb hospital for examination.

Whilst there he fainted twice, that’s when he was taken for chest X ray and MRI. The doctors still couldn’t figure why he was fainting and recommended that he goes for CT scan. That’s when they noted lots of fluids piling in his lower abdomen.

He was taken for surgery the same night @10pm and they found that his spleen had ruptured totally as a result of the fall and this was the cause of the bleeding and fainting.
They then had to remove the whole spleen so was operated on immediately.

As you walk along that path there is absolutely nothing to warn you. It is indeed a black spot.

The doc said that he could have easily passed on if he wasn’t that fit.
His leg muscles could withstand the high fall pressure but his internal organs couldn’t.

The rupture/tear missed his liver by a tiny margin.

We thank God Stone is alive today.

CAPTION: Former Nandi County deputy gubernatorial candidate Cornelius Rotich Kiplimo

A Ugandan national has come forward in search of leads to a well-connected Nandi politician whom she accuses of having defrauded her a huge sum of money during a purchase deal gone wrong in Mombasa.

The young farmer from Museveni’s land revealed this when she confided in one of our sources and narrated how she lost about Sh280,000 to one Mr Cornelius Rotich Kiplimo when buying a non-existent van for her delivery business.

“I was conned money while in Kenya, had gone to buy a van for my delivery business… I’ve not been the same since then. A Kalenjin, his name is Cornelius Rotich Kiplimo, does it ring a bell?” she asks Jimmy in a WhatsApp conversation.

According to the victim, the two had built trust for over 8 months before she made the trip to Kenya.

Everything had checked out, including his alleged company Rhodium Africa Construction where he claimed to have been an engineer.

Cornelius Rotich Kiplimo

A quick background check on Cornelius Rotich Kiplimo shows that he was the running mate to Nandi gubernatorial candidate Hon Anderson Serem in 2017.

As per a blog published that year, he was 26 years of age at the time.

Cornelius Rotich Kiplimo describes himself as a businessman and an entrepreneur, through a construction company named Rhodium Africa.
