Real estate mogul Dr Justin Kikuvi Muendo, the owner of both Wealthsmith Limited and Molars Dental, has been accused of mistreating his employees and clients alike through unfair dismissals, non-payment of dues, and causing significant delays in the issuance of title deeds.
A former employee who wrote to us on Monday, March 13, 2022, spoke out against Dr Muendo’s unethical practices, stating that many have suffered at his hands.
The source himself claims that he has not received payment from Dr Muendo since last year, and his attempts to contact the company have been met with radio silence.
“It’s not just employees that are affected. Even clients have been frustrated by the delays in title deeds issuance. Many have been waiting for more than two years, which is unacceptable,” said the source.
The mistreatment of employees and clients by Dr Muendo is a clear violation of labour laws and ethical business practices.
The source informs us that a number of former and current employees are also willing to testify about their experiences.
As per Kenyan law, all employers are required to adhere to the Employment Act, which outlines the rights of employees, including fair remuneration and timely payment of salaries.
Failure to comply with these regulations can result in hefty fines or even legal action.
In light of these allegations, we urge relevant authorities to take swift action against Dr Muendo and his companies, Wealthsmith Limited and Molars Dental.
Dr Muendo and his representatives have not yet responded to the accusations. It remains to be seen how this situation will develop, but one thing is certain: the mistreatment of employees and clients by business owners will not be tolerated.
