Residents of Malindi are expressing dissatisfaction with one of the town’s internet service providers, iNet Africa, for not meeting the required standards of service provision.
According to a source who sought anonymity, iNetAfrica is notorious for sending failure messages on a regular basis.
“We are tired of this internet service provider that doesn’t provide services as required. A week doesn’t pass without us receiving such messages twice or thrice,” the source reported.
“Whenever we call them, they always respond with apologies, but now it has become a trend. They usually charge monthly subscriptions without considering the poor services they have been providing.”
This has led to frustration among residents, who are calling for action to be taken to hold the company accountable.
As the source explains, the limited number of internet service providers in the area allows this particular provider to take advantage of its customers.
“We have limited internet services providers in the area, and that’s why they are taking advantage of us. Please help us to shame them.” the source concludes.
