Merchandisers Speak Out Against Ill-treatment By Carrefour Nyali
They include the Hub, the Village Market, Galleria Shopping Mall, the Sarit Centre, the Junction Mall, Thika Road Mall, Two Rivers Mall and Southfields Mall.
Hello Cyprian,
A while ago you highlighted something about Carrefour. These guys are mistreating us man as merchandisers and we don’t have anybody to run to.
Do you want us to do things their way without considering us how we will feel.
At Carrefour if you dont do what they tell you apart from what you’re designed to do in the outlet they label you as a rebel.
They want us to do work meant for their staff or else they will send an email to your company claiming that you don’t want to work yet you have done everything that you’re supposed to do.
The company doesn’t even take their time to investigate but instead they lay you off and look for another merchandisers to do your work for instance there was a girl who was fired at Carrefour Mega because of such things and it really hurts me and many others who suffer silently with fear of being intimidated.
You don’t have anybody on our side we are on our own. Every time you wake up in the morning and think that you’re going to Carrefour you just develop a headache because the rules are too harsh man it doesn’t favour us kindly make this Carrefour trend.
I won’t mind if they get kicked out of this country because they just make our lives miserable.
Today after we were done with our overnight stocktake at Carrefour Galleria.
We were kept waiting till 7 in the morning yet we reported and did what was required of us.
When we wanted to move out we were blocked by their many security guards. It almost ended with a fight coz we had ladies who have small kids that needs attention.
When we decided to storm our way out. Several ladies were sexually harrassed by the security guards in the middle of the scaffle.
Carrefour MUST GO!
