Our exposes on UNAITAS Sacco have shocked Kenyans especially those on social media.
According to many Kenyans, they always believed the Sacco was the best devoid of scandals and poor management but they were not surprised to learn the truth about the mismanaged Sacco.
The editor of this site has also received many complaints from former and current staffers of the Sacco who have exposed more information about impunity, oppression and scandals within. We will carry them as articles in future articles starting tomorrow.
The Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (Sasra) suspended several institutions between 2019 and 2020 for breaching regulations and mismanagement of member contributions in what turned out to be a Public Relations exercise as Sassra is part of the ROT in Unaitas. One of the most notable cases we exposed in our series was where Unaitas CEO Martin Muhoho employed a newly Graduated daughter of one of the lead auditors of Sasra as a procurement assistant.
In 2019, the overrated Sassra chairman John Munuve unveiled the Saccos fraud investigation unit which also turned out to be a joke because how do scandals like the ones I have exposed pass them?
As these exposes spread, many Kenyans have given their views including one keen reader who revealed to us that they will ask more questions in the forthcoming AGM.
