Remember fraudulent Thika-based real estate firm Lesedi Developers Limited?

Sometime in May, reliable sources who spoke to this blog exposed the company as a scandalous business shielded behind a nice ‘public image’ that portrays them as astute professionals when in the actual sense, a massive cabal of greedy swindlers lies underneath.

The revelations painted a clear picture of a total scam whose projects are mostly shady and marred by endless court cases.

Their offices at the Thika Bazaar, along Kenyatta Highway, are always full of frustrated clients pursuing refunds after losing investments worth millions in their dubious property schemes across Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, and Machakos.

Many of the projects have stalled for months, and the firm always seems unbothered to offering any proper resolution.

In one recent incident, Lesedi Developers built and sold out units without fully paying off the original land owner who ended up demolishing some of the clients’ houses.

The project dubbed “Muthaara Green Acres” had over 360 units, which went for Sh350,000 each.

Total Scam: Lesedi Developers Bed of Lies Exposed

As this and other cases drag in court, more victims of Lesedi’s white-collar thuggery continue to speak out.

A Kenyan serving in the US army reached out to cnyakundi.com on Tuesday, July 12, requesting us to cover his plight as he seeks to recover his hard-earned money which sunk into yet another stalled project in Kabati, Muranga, County.

Despite sorting out all necessary payments, construction of the units is surprisingly yet to begin.

This is more than one year since the project was initially scheduled to start.

According to the affected party, all efforts to seek an explanation from the company’s management have proven futile.

The CEO Esther Wagura only gives unending stories that always lead up to nothing.

After growing tired of the excuses, the victim says he sent his Kenyan representatives to report the matter to the Directorae of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Thika Town branch.

Unfortunately, this hardly made any difference.

The law enforcement officers, possibly under compromise from higher powers, failed to take any action on Lesedi Developers.

The file is now gathering dust at the DCI.

“Hello, Nyakundi.

Thank you for standing for what is right.

I would love to bring to your attention the misfortunes I am getting with Lesedi Homes.

I bought a property with Lesedi homes in Kabati (Almasi Greens Estate Phase 2) and am a very disappointed client.

I am outside the country and serve in the American army and it’s very bad when your hard-earned money goes to waste.

I am almost completing the payments, but the houses are yet to be started for 12 months now.

Every time I enquire about it I am given different stories by Esther Wagura (CEO).

I tried to report the same to DCI Thika, but I came to realize that all the cops there have been bribed by Lesedi such that even if you report, no actions will be taken.

Please inform other investors not to fall into this trap” wrote the source.
