The family of a pedestrian who was knocked down last Saturday by a reckless driver in Embakasi is still searching for justice for their late loved one.
Speaking out via social media on Wednesday, 15 June, a cousin of the victim has now requested netizens to help in identifying the owner of the black Toyota Prado which quickly fled the scene after the accident that reportedly took place along Mradi Road, just before Quickmart Embakasi.
“Hi guys, my cousin was knocked down along Mradi Road, just before Quickmart Embakasi on Saturday 11th June early morning and died on the spot.
The driver then fled the scene.
We have not been able to identify the car clearly from the CCTV footage but we would appreciate any help to determine the car or give any information that would help track down the driver of the car.
From the CCTV footage and witness information, the car that knocked him down is a Blue Prado whose left headlight broke after the impact.
Any leads to this would be appreciated,” reads the appeal.
