Tension is high in Kabiro Ward, Dagoretti North Constituency, where this year’s contest for the highly sought-after MCA seat has escalated into a full-blown bloody war between rival factions.

Speaking to us on Thursday, 9 June, a loyal cnyakundi.com reader based in the low-income residential area of Kawangware informed us how the two prime candidates in the August 9th race recently escalated the heated political adversary by pitting their goons against each other.

During the shocking incident earlier this week, hooligans allied to incumbent Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party MCA Clarence Kipkemboi Munga attacked a team of campaigners working for his chief opponent Anna Robai Makawa “Senje” of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

The group was putting up Ms Anna’s posters when strangers suddenly invaded the ground and inflicted serious body injuries.

“Hi, Nyakundi,

The primary culprit is Michael Indumba, alias “INDU”.

The candidate in question is Clarence Munga of ODM.

The victims were my boys two boys Evans Hans Ojwang and Simon Oding’o,” the source wrote, attaching the images shared below.
