As the recent storm at the company rages on, CFAO Motors Kenya Managing Director (MD) Arvinder Reel Singh is yet to resign.
On the ground, furious employees continue to call for his suspension even as the CFAO Group Executive Committee looks into allegations of gross malpractices by top members of the executive.
Some of those targeted by the internal investigation include MD Arvinder Singh Reel, Chief Operations Officer Joshua Anya and General Manager Andrew Omolo.
The probe was sparked by a series commissioned by this site’s Chief Editor Cyprian Nyakundi that delved into the company’s deep-rooted troubles attributed to a crooked leadership.

Through anonymously presented submissions, staff have protested a toxic working environment attributed to rampant mistreatment and oppression by the CFAO Motors Kenya management.
In the latest e-mail forwarded to us, a long-serving female employee has added to the countless narrations of life under the troubled vehicle distributor.
From the picture painted, it is clear that the toxicity at Toyota Kenya has completely demoralized the workforce.
Despite having joined the company in very high spirits over 7 years ago, she has never earned any kind of promotion.
When she challenged her manager over the matter, he rudely asked her to first justify the demands.
This was in total disregard for her huge experience on the job.
This prompted her to reach out to the Human Resource (HR) Manager for further guidance.
But to her surprise, the Manager had already shared their conversation with HR and they both agreed to turn down her request.
Just like that, her fate was decided.
Her case is just one among many.
At CFAO Motors Kenya, the General Managers and Branch Managers are known to lack professionalism.
Under the lazy watch of Arvinder Singh, some of them are said to be making a killing from parallel garages which is contrary to CFAO Motors’ code of conduct.

After following up with your article on Toyota Kenya, I have finally gathered courage, you are God sent to represent us.
When I first joined Toyota I was very proud I would wear Toyota branded shirts in public until the toxicity started catching up with me and I stopped marketing Toyota.

I worked for Toyota for over 7 years people would come get promoted while I was assumed.

That’s when I realised I was wasting my profession.
However, having worked with many years of experience I challenged my manager that I deserved promotion and he asked me to justify it.
I decided to share my frustration with HR only to get a rude shock.
My manager had already emailed HR our discussion and they both agreed I don’t deserve a promotion.
That’s when I realized my career at Toyota was over.
Branch managers are worse than (Father Abraham AKA Diamond Platinumz).
They are powerful and they use the general managers to transfer and HR never questions.
Adrian, Wambugu, and Jemimah are puppets.
This group of general managers and branch managers lack professionalism.
These people decide your fate in Toyota and it’s final.
They should be investigated as well because while Arvinder is busy sleeping on the job, the branch managers are busy enriching themselves by running garages contrary to Toyota’s code of conduct under the cover of general managers with whom they share proceeds from the jua kali.
