Fresh Details On Co-op Bank Cheating Scandal: Caroline’s Husband Suspected To Have Acted Out Of Depression

New information has come to light regarding the viral Co-operative Bank of Kenya cheating scandal that has taken social media by storm.

In the bizarre story, a disgruntled man identified as Thuku Mwangi (also a banker) wrote a letter to the lender’s Westlands Branch where his wife works and accused her of having sexual affairs with 3 different office colleagues that included a manager.

The leaked PDF document addressed to the Human Resource Department listed purported evidence that he claims to have collected to prove that his wife Caroline Wanjiku was unfaithful to their marriage.

He attached M-Pesa transaction statements as well as car tracking details which showed the routes his wife allegedly used when attending the alleged sex escapades behind his back.

But in light of fresh details forwarded to our newsdesk, the rather sensational outburst ought to be taken with a pinch of salt.

The source who spoke to us anonymously lifted the lid on what seems like an important “other side of the story” that equally deserves to be aired.

According to the lady who was confirmed to be a long-time and trusted confidant of the couple, Wanjuku and Thuku’s relationship has been constantly strained over the past 10 years.

This stressful situation is said to have badly affected Thuku’s mental health which gradually sent him into a state of depression.

During those early days, they were both freshly employed bankers at Co-operative Bank.

But as time went by, his wife who is known to be a dedicated  “workhorse” kept steadily rising up the ranks in her budding career.

On the other hand, the husband sunk into depression and his progress in life slowly stagnated.

Thuku’s poor performances eventually saw him kicked out of Co-op Bank and forced him to rescue his diminishing career at NIC bank.

However, thanks to his implausible habits, the stint only lasted a few weeks and he was back home jobless again.

Despite the existing burden of children, Caroline is said to have taken up the extra responsibility of providing him with both financial and emotional support.

After one year, he found a slot at Stanbic Bank Limited where he has since been earning his bread.

But in recent months, Thuku’s condition is reported to have badly worsened.

Filled with resentment and jealously that he is still stuck at the bottom as his wife and the rest of his former peers hit the big leagues, he plotted the hideous plan of bringing them all down.

According to our source, all the people he mentioned in the controversial e-mail were hired with him on the first day.

Wanjiku’s colleague further argues that all the data that he presented in the controversial e-mail was artificially manufactured to help support his evil narrative.

This strongly implies that Thuku is only playing the victim in a tragic situation that he, entirely created by himself.

In fact, based on an unseen part of the leaked PDF in our possession, when apologizing for the distasteful e-mail, he admitted to enrolling for therapy alongside his wife.

As our source implies in the WhatsApp screenshots embedded above, fees f0r some of the counselling sessions were directly fo0ted by the bank.

Contrary to what was peddled on various online platforms earlier in the day, below are some of the actual photos of Caroline Wanjiku.
