Journalist and goon Stephen Sangira who is running for the Suba South MP seat is said to have dispossessed a lady of her land.
According to a source, Mr Sangira has been preying on helpless widows to steal their land.
‘Please highlight and expose to the members of public this corrupt and rogue Stephen Sangira that has been evicting merciless widows from their properties and is now campaigning to be Suba South MP. He is the sole Director of Kachuodho Holdings Ltd’, the source wrote.
Through his firm Kachuodho Holdings, the MP aspirant has grabbed and taken a widow to court, to have him retain the stolen land.
Sangira is a former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s aide; a goon whom he (Sonko) used to steal land with.
In 2018, Sangira was among the five people arrested for assaulting and robbing former Nairobi Central Business District Association (NCBDA) chairman Timothy Muriuki.
The five (EALA MP Simon Mbugua, Anthony Otieno Ombok alias Jamal, and Benjamin Odhiambo Onyango alias Odhis) had roughed up Mr Muriuki who was about to give a press conference at Hotel Boulevard in Nairobi.
Sangira and the others were charged with robbery with violence but later released on a Sh200,000 cash bail pending investigations.
The police bangled the investigations making the quartet walk Scott-free.
Sangira was also a former Nairobi Governor Evand Kidero’s spanner boy.
