Distinguished Kenyan news reporter Sam Ogina has come out to respond to celebrated comedian Eric Omondi after he linked the journalist to his latest scuffle with baby mama Jacquie Maribe.
In a Twitter post sent out on the night of Tuesday, 2nd November, 2021, Ogina vehemently denied allegations previously by Omondi that he once dated the TV flowergirl in 2012.
The married Citizen TV reporter revealed that at the time, he was courting his current wife, Priscathi Njeri Oguna.
In an angry signoff, he added that the comedian’s post linking him to Maribe was an act of malicious defamation of which he intends to avenge in the court of law.
“I Sam Ogina wish to categorically deny the allegations by Eric Omondi that i was dating Maribe in 2012.
What he posted is false and defaming and let he rest assured that i am coming for him.
At the time I was dating my lovely wife Njeri,” Ogina wrote.
In a follow-up tweet, Oguna posted an additional photo of him and Njeri on the night of the alleged party in 2012.
“For the avoidance of doubt, this is me and Njeri at the same party in 2012,” he wrote, before going on to threaten to leak Omondi’s nudes as retaliation to his earlier remarks.
“Eric, provoke me further and I will release the disgusting skeleton pictures you used to send her,” he added.
Earlier in the day, Eric Omondi had disclosed little known details of his past relationship with Jacque Maribe following her weekend claims that he is a deadbeat dad.
Through a long Instagram post, Omondi said that he has begged Maribe for 7 years for DNA test, to ascertain if he is the biological father to their son but she has always refused.
Omondi also claimed that on the night they met and slept together, it was only a night stand; and that Maribe was at the time dating Sam Ogina.
“So we met at Radio Africa in 2012. I was working at Radio Jambo and Jacque was working at Kiss TV. So one Random night after a Radio Africa Staff Party and after afew bottles of whiskey and wine glasses Jacque and I happened. It was really a one night thing because she was dating KTN’s Sam Ogina at the time” read part of the post.
