A woman from Kiserian, Kajiado County is nursing serious head injuries after a daring panga-wielding robber broke into her house earlier this week.
The victim who spoke to some independent journalists from the area alleged the unknown man who gained access to her house on the night of Monday 25, October 2021 also attempted raping her but she bravely fought back.
During the scuffle, the man eventually overpowered the woman and hit her on the forehead with his machete before quickly making it away with two mobile phones.
At the same scene, a second woman also claimed that a man matching the same description had attempted to gain access to another woman’s house in the same area the following night.
Area sub-chief Peter Manka while speaking to Elveza Media has urged residents to share any information that will assist the police to arrest criminals in the area.
Naserian Sub location is in Kiserian, Kajiado West. Kajiado West residents have requested the National Government to provide the necessary tools to the police to enable them to do their work.
Locals say that Kajiado West Police depends on Kajiado North police services for support especially in matters to do with response vehicles.
