Hi Nyakundi.
My daughter is in class 8 at Aga Khan Primary School in Mombasa. We parents of class 8 pupils got reports than 7 teachers of class 8 have resigned and some other teachers were fired.
School management, led by the Head Teacher Mrs. Wanyonyi, has refused to give us any information concerning this. They’ve instead been conducting secret interviews for new teachers.
Our kids’ programme from 6:30 am to 8:00 am has been changed to reading storybooks. We are worried that something is seriously wrong at the school and that our kids’ performance could be negatively affected.
Class 8 parents are meeting today from 10 am at the school gate to demand to be informed of what’s going on.
We need publicity of this issue.
Please help us highlight this issue.
