Many firms in Kenya took the excuse of the Covid-19 to mistreat their staff.
One of those firms is Aua Industria Limited, Kenya.
The firm deals in security solutions and provides services to firms in in the Middle East and Africa region.
Aua Industria is headquartered in Nairobi and serves the following firms: Kenya Airways, DHL, and a couple of Kenyan banks.
The security company has also undertaken works for the Australian High Commission.

I work for a company called Aua Industria Limited. They have not paid us salary from April to date. We received March Salary at the mid of August. It’s Not that the company is experiencing financial challenges per say, but money comes in but directors prioritize their needs inclusive mortgage but not our salaries.
People were declared redundant during the onset of Covid 19, around April 2020 and up to date they have not cleared paying them.
When you resign, it’s even worse, they just give you payment plan but they never implement.
They have big projects with banks, hotels, etc and they even sponsored Stanchart Marathon when they had not paid us our dues.
We are really struggling to make ends meet and when you approach them, they tell you they are in the same Financial Crisis like everyone. Times are getting harder.
