Exclusive news reaching the Chief editor of this site tells of a cover up involving Pan Africa Group TV Servers that burnt down Nakuru.

Our source says that the company is trying to hide the mishap caused by negligence by calling it a ‘technical hitch’.

However, the heart of the matter is that about three weeks prior to the fire incident, two out of three air conditioners in the transmitter room were not operational. They had failed and sometimes the room had to be left open to ease the circulation of air.

“The design of the room is such that, the batteries and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) system is on one side, the middle part is for servers, encoders and decoders and the other side the transmission system”, the source explains.

“The charging and discharging causes hydrogen build up. The room was extremely hot due to failed AC system”, the source added.

It will be hard for the forensic team to unearth what happened because the place had already burn down and immediately new ACs has been fitted to cover up.

All this happened following the safari rally weekend.

Pang is said to have promised to resume the service as of 6th July 2021. However, the problem is that the technical person on the ground is calling clients asking them for password in order to boot up their servers.

The expert said that if the servers survived the fire, the smoke and soot would have needed to be cleaned before booting up.
