The internet was set ablaze on Friday night after a shocking image depicting a naked Kakamega governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya went viral on social media.
The photo that heavily circulated online was craftily manipulated on Photoshop to make it look like the ODM Party Deputy Leader was lying in bed next to a naked slay queen young enough to be his daughter.
When the image first emered, many were quickly duped into believing it was real and some even went on social media to ridicule and castigate the Council of Governors (COG) Chairman over such an irresponsible incident.
Moments later, however, it was eventually revealed that the image was in fact just a clever manipulation and not that of a naked Oparanya.
At the moment it is still unclear who might have been behind this latest act of digital assault on the good governor but speculations are rife it could be the work of ODM bloggers as an attempt to punish Mr Oparanya over his stance on the controversial BBI.
Governor Wycliffe Oparanya is under a digital assault from ODM bloggers because of his stance against BBI. They have used photoshop to cast aspersions on his character. Shame!

Two months ago, Wycliffe Oparanya suggested that the BBI referendum be pushed to next year so that available resources can be used to deal with the current Covid-19 pandemic.
He argued the third wave of Covid-19 posed a serious danger to Kenyans and all the resources and energy should be directed to containing the virus.
The High Court on Wednesday also stopped President Uhuru Kenyatta from proceeding with the changes to the Constitution.
Five judges declared the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) illegal, null and void.
The bench issued a permanent injunction restraining the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) from conducting the referendum.
