Hi Nyakundi.
First let me thank you for the effort you have always put to enlighten gullible Kenyans like me on Corporate, Media and Government corruption.
I would like to highlight a well orchestrated fraudulent scheme by Cooperative Bank employees (TRM Branch). After entering the banking hall, I asked a well dressed banker at the entrance whether I had to line up with the rest to pay electricity bill. He answered no and directed me to a desk setup in the banking hall.
Upon asking the lady whether this is the desk accepting electricity payments she gladly said yes, and added that I had to part with an extra 50/= for commission. When I asked her why the commission was being imposed, she rudely replied that “hio sijui ni bank imesema hivyo mambo ya commission…”
She really insisted on the matter and that is when she asked me if I was paying or not? She was horrifically rude to say the least. I paid because I couldn’t go to Stima Plaza which is also riddled with corrupt workers.
My question is Bwana Nyakundi, why should I pay commission yet KPLC have an account with Cooperative Bank? Is this the kind of response an innocent Kenya should get for asking clarity on simple matters?
I only needed a well broken down answer not rude replies from myopic employees. We are the reason this bi*** is employed goddamnit!
Kindly highlight this story. I’m ready to point out the lady to you guys if need be.
Sincerely,
Benson.
