February 2020: The Ag. General Manager/CEO, Mr. Peter Gitaa Welcomed the PS, Tourism, Hon. Safina Kwekwe Tsungu Principal Secretary for Tourism, CBS, during her familiarization visit to Bomas of Kenya.

The Government of Kenya (GoK) partially locked down the most resourceful part of the country so as to increase the level of poverty that will make Kenyans too hungry to question the next phase of state capture; an extension of Uhuru Kenyattas rule through BBI.

Here below, a Bomas of Kenya staffer who did not wish to be named speaks of dire straits the institution finds itself in.

This might be reflective of what is about to happen to all government of Kenya staff: delayed salaries due to economic downturn brought about by looting, mismanagement, bad governance and effects f overrated virus COVID-19.

The best thing to do is to Unlock Our Country NOW.

Najib Balala, Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Tourism

Hello sir,

The current Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bomas of Kenya Peter Gitaa was appointed using a forged letter addressed to Najib Balala, the Cabinet Secretary (CS) Ministry of Tourism for one and half year now.

However, since he took over, the life of the staff here has been terrible with a lot of harassment and sacking of innocent staff.

Furthermore, he has manipulated board of directors by employing their children and relatives, awarding tenders to the board’s relatives especially chairman board relatives.

Till now, staff haven’t received their salary.

Staff members have only been sent some text messages pointing at treasury and by the fact treasury released quarterly budget.

The text from Bomas reads:

“Greetings, Due to COVID-19 pandemic disruptions, we have experienced delays in disbandment of government grants from treasury which has caused delays in payment of salaries. We are aware of the challenges that you are going through and urge you to be patient as we pursue the matter. We will keep you updated. Stay safe. Management, Bomas of Kenya STOP*456*9*5# More to come
