A transfer of security officers from one KRA station has created fears of a murder in the offing.
The transfers according to one of the security officers have ‘created a lot of poison and some officers may plot to kill each other’.
The two KRA managers, one identified as a Mr Kinyua and the other Joan Mwangi are said to be at loggerheads.
A third manager, a Ms Ann Irungu is said to be living in fear as Mr Kinyua often collects money from her, and it is Joan who offers her protection.
“Our boss Ann Irungu is always in the middle for fear of the two because Kinyua collect money for her and Joan protects her from ISO. Ann only collect bribes directly from KIGO or FRM but the others is through Kinyua”, wrote the source
The source continues that, Kigo gives Ann Irungu Sh1 million per month which has earned Ann the nickmanem ‘Kamita’.
On the other hand Joan gets Sh2 million every month from Mary of Patiala who is extremely rich because of selling alcohol. Mary of Patiala has been hard on other manufacturers which makes her fight with Kinyua who get paid bribed by many businesses.
It is said that since Kinyua knew of transfers from Ann she has been bitter with her for not protecting him and has been saying she has been controlled by Joan to cause transfers. She has been saying CG is always on Ann’s side because she prides to have taught him work when he joined KRA and has made him who he is.
On the other habd he has openly said Joan has influenced transfers through sex with Saidimu.
When transfers came out he claimed that all very close friends of Joan were saved. Mercy Wathika who is a sexual friend to Mukuria was also saved from the transfers.
“When advert for two managers came last week he said Ann told him one was for Joan and the other for Kinoti. Joan on the other hand does not hide hatred for Kinyua because of close links with Ann. It is a fight for survival and since Kinyua is bitter he can plan anything against Joan. On the other hand, Joan is like a mafia and can also do anything. I have decided to report because if things go wrong all of us are not safe. Please see how to defuse the tensions”, the email to KRA Commissioner General James Githii concluded.
