This is a complaint regarding exams as narrated by a Rubate Teachers Training College (TTC) student.

Hello Nyakundi. Kindly highlight this.
Some Student teachers at Rubate TTC in Chuka are/will not be allowed to be externally assessed in teaching practice just because they have fee arrears.
This is happening in most colleges and the government must come out clear. How do you deny a student a chance to do his final assessment only for them to get results which says CRNM(course requirement not met)?
This assessment was supposed to be done before PTE, but due to Corona issues it was postponed. It is very discouraging.
Now just imagine that they have prepared 2 lists one with the ones with 0 balance. And these are the ones to be presented to the external assessors. The rest’s fate is unknown. Surely there are somethings that happen behind the governments back.
Information so far is that the ones who have not cleared fees will be marked as absent. How is that possible yet students are in college. Just highlight the issue and get answers from people who have been victims even if you prefer not to name the exact TTC. But we are suffering in the hands of these administrators and the so called Teaching practice Directors.
This teaching practice was supposed to be done before the final exam (KNEC PTE) but due to corona issue ikasukumwa after juu primary schools hazikuwa in session. If we as students miss these marks the results usually reflect as CRNM.
How surely can i be allowed to sit for my final exam only to be denied some marks just because someone needs money?
Not every student come from a wealthy background. We should be allowed to do the TP then go look for cash, clear then we get our certificates because we need them in our lives. We are really frustrated bro
Kindly highlight.
