In the time of crisis around the Spanish Flu which wiped out 50 million from the face of the earth in 1918, a survivor William Sardo Junior shared how people were falling inside their houses dead like insects.

“The Crisis came within the first 2-3 hours of your sickness. You either survived or you were dead. When the flu epidemic hit – somebody would ring let’s say they rang the doorbell at 6:00 am in the morning and said my mother just passed away. I want you to take care of the funeral service. That – before the sunset on that day, the whole family would be gone”, William Sardo said.

Another person, John M, Barry, through an interview US Fox new, said that the most regretful thing was that government’s around the world lied about the disease dismissing it casually as ‘it’s just the ordinary flu by another name”

By the time the government was gagging blogger Robert Alai over questions he asked on the deaths of people in Mombasa over Covid-19, it means something was happening.

Today, I have received a summon to go to the nearest police station. I will honor it at 3 pm at the Central Police Station.

It was just a question which needed a response, but out of fear and incompetence, they created another fear.

In due time, the only way Kenyans can get information about Coronavirus in this country would be among themselves, shared in Telegram (most secure) and other means.

The government is once again failing on PR.

Kenyans must demand good governance!
