Governor Patrick Khaemba (4th from left – front row) after the meeting

Governor Patrick Khaemba of Trans Nzoia County has presided the looting of the county. Nepotism, tribalism, and conflict of interest are rife.

A few months ago, a couple of bodaboda riders and some activists reached out to cnyakundi.com to protest the harassment of transporters and motorists in the county.

The name of the first lady Lydia Khaemba (one of the many wives of Gov. Khaemba) featured prominently. She was mentioned as the head of a criminal extortionist who are out to arrest motorists and riders at the slightest of chance and charge them exorbitantly for release.

The riders say that whenever they’re arrested the rogue gang led by someone by name Ombima charges them between Ksh20k and 30k fine, and that there is no limit to or on how much one should pay.

The Kitale Bus Park which was undergoing construction, set to be opened, in January 2020, is said to have been allocated to a few individuals who will control it the way Mungiki have controlled Nairobi (read it in the statement below)

To avoid future harassment, Boda boda riders need a space in the ongoing building of bus terminus since they were asked to pay a sum of Ksh3k per stage in the whole of Trans Nzoia county. It remains to be seen if the county will honor their pledge. There are more than 6000 motorbike stages.

The riders protested last month over these mistreatment and more.

KITALE BUS PARK(STAGE) BROKERED SYNDICATE

Press Release!

It has come to our attention that Governor Khaemba (Trans Nzoia) has constituted a syndicate to micro manage how rooms/shops will be distributed when the project that has been used as a pipe to siphon public funds will be officially opened on 30th of January 2020.

A secret meeting held on 17th of December 2019 at Sirwo Resort in Cherang’anyi constituency handpicked a team to work with the Kitale Municipal Board another merry-go-round alliance of brokers;

  1. Chairman-Martin Waliaula
  2. Deputy- Alice Waruguru
  3. Festus Khaemba
  4. Ann Khaemba
  5. Shaban Werunga
  6. Peter Chemengich
  7. David Langat

The CEC Lands, the disgruntled political non-starter and a green horn who brought down the department of Health Mrembo Christine Soita told the syndicate to work hard in making sure sycophants are given priority.

The firebrand (corrupt – cnyakundi.com inserted) first lady Lydia Seroney was the secretary-in-action jotting down salutatory bidding elbowing out the luhya (bukusu) community, a move that was welcomed with stupid luhyas (bukusu’s) who were present, they have forgotten where they have come from, kweli maskini akipata matako hulia mbwata. The catwalks will fall in 2022 with a new Governor in place.

A group of semi illiterate MCAs around 13 were present to get rooms for their chips fungas’. Little knowledge is disastrous and the MCAs present have no clue that Kenya is a state with laws governing it, in 2022 with a new Governor their chips fungas will be heartbroken.

Khaemba, chaired the meeting and nodded yes to all that secretary-in-action said. Nothing to comment more, 2022 the house will be cleaned.

TO FELLOW RESIDENTS, on 30th of January 2020, let us come out in large numbers and disown the move to allocate thugs and cronies public properties. The Kitale Bus Park Building si mali ya babu ya mtu, it belongs to the people the county government is acting as our trustee.

End of statement.
