Kenyans await Habib Bank AG Zurich’s time-bomb to explode at the hands of a naive and immoral executive earlier sacked by both United Bank Limited and ADIB UAE i.e.; Asim Basharullah, whose appointment has been lately approved by CBK in contravention of criteria alluded in Prudential Guidelines for determining ‘PROFESSIONAL AND MORAL SUITABILITY OF PERSONS IN CONTROL OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS’, without calling into question his only academic qualification of a bachelors degree and the quizzical job record at his earlier employers.
In desperation to appoint a CEO from outside, Habib Bank AG Zurich literally sourced him from his home because he was sacked by United Bank Limited-UAE Operation as GM owing to his severe maltreatment of its employees and his desperate actions devoid of morality and other behavioral issues.
Both Kenyan and expat staff (their own countrymen) at Habib Bank AG Zurich Kenya have since been voicing out serious concerns regarding their Country Manager (Mohammed Ali Hussain) and CEO’s (Asim Basharullah) immense immorality and desperate malpractices, to CBK however to no avail: May be due to huge commission to CBK’s insider aides of HBAGZ’s executives.
CBK is repeatedly warned to take stock of the grave situation of human resource issues and corporate governance impasse at Habib Bank AG Zurich in public interest and immediately withdraw its unabated approval to such ruthless executives who are usurping our countrymen of their human rights to ethical workplace environments thereby risking the compliant continuity of HBAGZ itself and ultimately the trust reposed in Kenya’s financial sector.
If CBK fails to take the stock of situation, next episode ll be revealing the bank’s compliance and operational malpractices alongwith the names of wealthy Kenyans of 44th tribe stashed by HBAGZ.
