Standard Group group CEO Orlando Lyomu is a man under siege after being involved in a very big goof.
The board of The Standard Group Plc announced the appointment of Orlando Lyomu as the Group Chief Executive Officer with effect from May 25, 2018 replacing Sam Shollei who resigned in September 2017.
Today, he mistakenly promoted a WhatsApp group, which is circulating the Standard illegally for free, by sharing the below link on his profile.
The Standard Media group a few years ago started cracking down on Telegram groups that were circulating their papers hence raising eyebrows as to why the CEO would promote such a group, which he allegedly owns.
Almost all directors subscribed to the group then exited after noticing it’s fake. The group dubbed Standard group PDF sells tha papers for ksh. 10.
